Kapitel 46: Routine

Adonis wasn't bothered by the gazes that lingered as slowly, over time, most forgot about him and the atmosphere returned to its previous calm.

After a few more days of waiting, it was finally Adonis' turn to embark. He didn't dilly dally as he paid for his entry then for a simple room and immediately headed in.

When he got into his room, the mark on his back palm glowed and he vanished into the Boundless Mansion.

The Boundless Mansion was a strange treasure. Apart from the mark on his hand, it had no other physical attachment.

Adonis had thought to ask Uncle Seth where the mansion truly was situated but he didn't bother. He knew the old man wouldn't tell him, not now at least.

From there, Adonis' routine for the first month was rather simple and repetitive.

He cultivated, trained, read the books in the library, spent time with Umbral and repeated the cycle.
