The four familiar figures proceeded to enter the spacious cottage.
Estacia recalled the number of days remaining before her family returns.
'Exactly 1 day.' She thought as she felt a stare piercing her back.
"Delmion, you sure you don't want anything? You've been staring at me ever since we left that weird place." She asked.
"Hm? Uh no. I just...wanted to ask what was there for dinner." Delmion asked with a stammered voice.
"Well, that is what has been in your mind for the past 2 hour? You didn't look like that type of a person." Estacia chuckled adorably.
"I guess I didn't but I am, I mean...even you don't look like the type who would actually turn into a demon." He said carelessly.
'Oh no...' He realized what he had just said and gulped nervously.
"Is that so? Well allow me to demonstrate what a demon really looks like." Estacia smiled with no good intentions while she held a knife in her hands. She was cooking which explains why a knife was held tightly in her soft hands. She definitely did not try to kill Delmion.
*5 minutes later*
"Poor soul, you almost got killed." Hail put on an act of sympathy as he applied herbal ointment on the wild scars that were scattered around Delmion's body.
Delmion winced in pain.
"You know what they say, never provoke a beast." Hail continued as he rubbed the wound.
"Yeah. Maybe you'll tell me more about what they say when I inform Estacia about what you called her." Delmion smiled mockingly.
Hail kept his smile when a sweat trickled down his forehead. Several droplets of sweat followed.
"How about we get along now. It's better to be friends rather than enemies." He chuckled uncomfortably.
Not a hint of reply was heard from Delmion.
"Let's get going the food must be ready." Delmion put on his shirt and walked out of the room.
"Hold up! Please don't tell her! I want to live!" Hail chased after Delmion desperately.
Estacia set up the dining table while the boys entered. Sherwind made several futile attempts to pick up the drinking cups. Delmion effortlessly picked it up instead and they all sat around the table.
"You made all this?" Hail asked excitedly.
"Yes but no." Estacia replied indifferently.
"Just heated them up using the stove." She said.
"Oh...I was going to praise you but, meh." Hail shrugged and gobbled up the food along with Delmion and Sherwind.
"Enough chit-chat, we have to discuss some more serious matters here." Estacia put down her fork as the words attained the attention of the trio.
Sherwind's mouth, stuffed with the over-sized bread hardly let the questioning words out,"Wuf seefious maffer? (What serious matter), afarth fwom the weirth dhoodh anw the owd mwan (apart from the weird dude and the old man)?"
Delmion and Hail both gave disapproving looks towards the little mischievous fairy.
"Yes, something apart from these two hooligans. My family will exactly one day, I have to get their permission before leaving this island. After all, this will be my very first journey away from...home" Estacia explained.
"Yeah, like your mom will approve of that." Hail stated.
"I know it's going to be a little tough but my mother knows how much I value my freedom." Estacia mumbled.
"Also, it would be quite difficult introducing so many new guests." She chuckled.
For a sheltered girl like Estacia, a life away from her island will be a life away from disgruntled looks, prejudiced people and a loving family. A journey that even she is afraid to take.
You can't help it when there are new challenges you desire to face but a small fragment of you wishes to abide by what is already familiar.
Anxiety, excitement and sadness. Emotions that completely differ accomplished to rush in an become one. Estacia's mind couldn't stop wondering. The conflict of whether she should stay or leave remained in her mind. Positivity rivaled with negativity all in the same ground.
"Don't worry. What matters is what you want." Sherwind's little smile warmed the conflicted environment of Estacia's thoughts.
"Yeah, I'm sure they will agree as long as you have friends by your side." Hail stated.
"How are we friends when we met just 3 days ago?" Delmion smiled disappointingly.
"Yeah we did meet 3 days ago, but the amount of situations I went through along with you guys dulls those thoughts. It almost feels like we've known each other for centuries." Estacia snickered.
'Friends..what an unfamiliar term.' Estacia thought.
The moon rose high for it was it's time to shine and spread it's glimmer on the forests.
The group of four friend lay on bed, each being engulfed by their wildest dreams.

"Estacia! We are home!" The familiar lady entered the house with an excited look.
The older brother figure followed just to see a sight he never even dreamed of seeing.
An unfamiliar boy lay on top of Estacia while another was below her and tears glimmered in her ever changing eyes.
"Mom...brother." She sniffled.
That didn't seem to be the best impression. Did it?
