It was already noon.
Qian Cangyi was on his way back to the Pusha Village police station. Of course, he was still followed by seven women, including Zuo Ying. There was also Yan Xuan's men who were sent to help— all of them accompanied him.
The news spread fast in Pusha Village. The news that Chang Shuo had found seven women in Zuo Shan's basement spread throughout the whole village in no time. Perhaps out of curiosity, or for other reasons, many villagers temporarily put down their work and came to watch.
More and more villagers appeared on the sides of the road, their skin darkened due to the perennial exposure to intense sunlight.
At one glance, Qian Cangyi noticed they were all men. At least, he hadn't seen a woman amongst them.
"Tell them not to come any closer," Qian Cangyi said to Yan Wen, who was standing next to him.
