Kapitel 212: He survived

The prison cave of Dark Castle.

The guards in front of the prison cells intertwined their weapons when they saw Cardan approaching in that direction.

"You want to play this?" Cardan raised a brow. 

Both the guards bowed their heads, ''Your Highness, His Majesty has ordered us to not let you in unless it is necessary.''

''How long have you been working here?"

"17 years,'' One guard answered. 

"21 years, Your Highness,'' the other said.

"Then you should be aware of the curse on me. I must meet my mother once in a while unless I want to die.''

"You have met her twice in the past 10 days, Your Highness,'' the guard whispered.

Cardan noticed the man's trembling stature. His lips curled in disdain, ''Count this as the third time because my body is not well. If I die, you are going to be held answerable for this.''

They looked at him in disbelief.
