Kapitel 52: Shies Away

I watch her stumbles as she stands upright and falls back to the floor. My heart can not help but feel pain as she falls down because I wish that I could just give her a kiss and make it better. Of course, at this moment I am just happy that she is not mad because I am here and maybe took it a step too far.

But I think she has an idea now how I feel about her and what she means to me. I still have her in my arms and then I help her to stand up.

"Are you okay now?"

I still can not believe that Luke is right next to me and holding me in his well-toned arms. If I ever wondered if he cared for me this is a pretty good sign that he really cares for me.

"I am okay now, thank you"

I try and stand on my leg independently and I can feel the pain shooting through my leg but I do not care to show it on my face. Then I give him a good look and I see him starting to shake. I realize that he must be feeling ice cold being wet and all.
