Eldritch May Cry

Everything is fine until it isn't. The end pours over the world, and the stars have breathed their last.
 
The gods watching have made deals or pled loyalty to the Nigh-Sultan as he prepares for his final banquet in this universe.
 
Humans are given the power to become dreamers and fail at attempts to grasp these dreams. Instead, they go to the Darkness That Surrounds Crawling Chaos for power.
 
Eldritch entities run rampant, Cryptids try reshaping the world in their image, and the humans who grasp at that newfound power become no better than those creatures themselves.
 
In this world with no sun, dreams shatter, and ignorance becomes all anyone who has stared curiously knows.
 
Yet, one has begun trying to live a "normal" life in this world.
 
His vow? He has none. After all, fate for him is nothing but fiction, and if he gets his way, the Eldritch May Cry.
