Kapitel 33: Chapter 33- Rath Gul-1

Rath Gul had a giant grin plastered on his face when he suddenly jumped from his seat and landed in the middle of the arena. The impact caused a cloud of dust to flare up and when it cleared he was standing before Nork.

Nothing was said between them, not even the on lookers uttered a peep. They both looked like massive behemoths next too each other. Rath Gul began stretching and cracking his bones while Nork stood there with his club on the ground watching patiently.

After after a few moments the watching Orges began to beat on the tables and chant in unison.

"TO THE DEATH!"

"TO THE DEATH!"

"TO THE DEATH!"

The chanting roared loudly and filled the room as the many voices became one. This caused Rath Gul's heart to beat fast as his excitement grew . He then pointed to Nork, gesturing him to swing first.

Nork snorted and picked up his club easily and swung, knocking Rath Gul in the face. He staggered back a few feet but was other wise in harmed. He gave him a wide maniacal grin.

"Come on now Nork" said Rath Gul "Surely you have more to offer than that weak swing?" Nork didn't answer but took his weapon and slammed into his stomach. The impact was loud enough to make everyone wince from the sound. The hit was so powerful it lifted Rath Gul off his feet and into the air.

Nork wasted no time and leaped into the air slamming the club into his opponents back. The latter when crashing into the arena face first. He landed with a massive thud when Nork slammed and landed into his back.

*CRACK*

A loud crack was heard fro n the after math of the impact which caused Wrath to become surprised.

"That was a good blow" praised Wrath "Yet it wasn't enough". Tru agreed with a silent nod but was confused at her statement.

"Clearly the older orge is winning, why wouldn't it be enough?" asked Tru.

"Hahahaha, you're only looking at the surface. Circulate your mana in your eyes and you'll unlock a skill. Then you'll see what I'm talking about." answered Wrath.

"You told me I wouldn't be able to learn new skills" said Tru when he looked over and saw Nork brutally beating Rath Gul into the ground. "Besides I doubt that skill will change the outcome of this one sided fight."

"Just do as I say and don't question me. Did you forget who gave you this power? You have much to learn, you are not learning but unlocking a dormant power you have." Wrath's voice was high with irritation as she scolded Tru. He said nothing and closed his eyes and circulated his mana.

"You have acquired the skill Ifrit's Sight(Unique)(Passive)- Rank A"

UNIQUE SKILL UNABLE TO BE LEARNED OR TAUGHT."

Tru opened his eyes and saw small wisp of different elemental mana. All across the room in every being was a small ball of mana inside them. They ranged from blue to light green. There was Geo, Pyro, Aero and even some Hydro users around him.

He looked down at his body and could see the crimson red mana cover his entire body. He then looked over to the fight and saw a small orb of Pyro mana floating over a massive collection of orange Geo mana. Suddenly the mana began to focus into a singular point, Rath Gul's fist.

Rath Gul was being met with blow after blow from Nork. Nork's blows were blow in each right but nothing more than a child hitting a tree. He stood, causing Nork to fall over and turned to face him.

Nork's eyes widen when he realized not a single scratch was found on him. Nork looked around for his club when he realized it was behind him, he quickly got up a ran and grabbed it.

He looked at Rath Gul with caution as he circled around him. The latter did nothing but shake his head in disappointment.

"Come now Old Man, let me return the favor!" said Rath Gul as he punched Nork square in the face blasting him backwards. "Magnum Impact!"

*DING*

Magnum Impact(Unique)(Active)- Rank D: "Skill allows user to collect mana in their fist and release it upon impact. Knocks target back. Power and damage relative to mana used. UNIQUE SKILL CANNOT BE TAUGHT OR LEARNED."

Cooldown: Varies

Nork was launched back several feet from Rath Gul's Magnum Impact. The blow left a fist sized imprint in his chest causing him to cough up a mouthful of blood.

The sight pleased Rath Gul and caused his blood to pump faster. "Come in and stand up!" shouted Rath Gul "I barely used any mana! So get back on your feet and fight!"

His words echoed through the feasting hall causing the watching Orges to go into a frenzy. Some clanked their weapons on the tables while others shouted caries curses. Though one thing can be said is they were enjoying the fight as it went on.

"ON YOUR FEET!"

"ON YOUR FEET!"

"ON YOUR FEET!"

Hearing the crowd caused the bloody Nork to struggle and rise to his feet. His gaze was hazy and fogged as he watched Rath Gul approach him slowly with a wide grin. His shot out several Rock pillars knocking him from side to side around the arena.

He looked like a rag doll being played with as he was met with pillar after pillar. Rath Gul eventually stopped when Nork's body dropped to the ground leaving him kneeling. Rath Gul stopped down and picked him up by the throat high into the air.

He raised another Rock Pillar and slammed Nork's face directly into it. He did this repeatedly nonstop. The crowds cheering was loud and was slowly dying out as he kept slamming Nork's head.

"YOU. DARE. CHALLENGE. ME?!!" roared Rath Gul as each words was met with the sound of Nork's head being smashed. The sight even caused Tru to wince a bit as he looked on. Wrath was silent as she also had no words for this display of violence.

"I should stop him." said Tru as he became angry at Rath Gul. "He should have finished it quickly yet instead he wants to humiliate his opponent at this rate."

"It is in his right, as he was challenged." said Wrath. "Orges care nothing for feelings or law, only strength. That being said only the strongest orge can call the shots around here. This 'Nork' clearly didn't like the way is leader was leading.

Now in spite of his defiance he now has to pay with his life." Wrath's words entered into Tru's mind and gave him an idea. "What if I challenge Rath Gul and take his position?" curiously asked Tru.

"Hmmmm" replied Wrath "Though I see a small chance of victory, I say you should do it. You will need an army to back you up if you are to take revenge for me and brethren's betrayal. Orges aren't very smart but they do make up for that in strength and numbers."

"Well then it's settled. I will save Nork and then challenge Rath Gul." said Tru as he watched Rath Gul go from smashing Nork's head to now just slamming him around.

"Yes just one problem. How are you going to save yourself and that large orge?" asked Wrath "You aren't ready to fight him just yet and you aren't able to make a strong escape. So already this plan is floating in the water."

Tru said nothing but looked on when Rath Gul dropped Nork's body with a loud thud. He then walked towards Tru. He stared him directly into his amber eyes, studying him.

The latter did not avert his gaze yet matched it as he used Ifrit's Mana Soul and could see that Rath Gul was low on mana. His mana was low but he was not tired even after thrashing around Nork for so long.

He grinned at Tru who had a blank expression plastered on his face. "You look like you want to say something to me, human?" asked Rath Gul.

Tru ignored him and looked to Nork who was lying o n the floor barely breathing. Seeing Tru ignore him caused Rath Gul to become angry. "Do NOT ignore me!" shouted Rath Gul as he began steeping towards Tru.

He was within arms reach when a hooded figured flashed and appeared between the two. They held up a hand and stopped Rath Gul in his tracks

"Now is not the time to pick unneeded fights Lord Gul."
