Kapitel 118: Crimson Cut

"Huff… Huff… Huff." Kizaer inhaled oxygen through his nostrils profusely and hastily. Some strands of hair were stuck to the side of his face due to the viscosity of the sweat that soaked his entire body, his clothes were covered in dirt and dried blood.

With his feet apart and his arms slightly stretched forward with clenched fists, Kizaer maintained the Horse Stance. His eyes were closed as he tried to concentrate on the last memories and sensations of the battles he had recently faced.

His body still ached in some places due to the harsh blows. Cuts and bruises could also be seen here and there.

The smell of blood in that place was unbearable, it seemed as if a giant beast was lying nearby with a horrendous open wound that wouldn't stop bleeding, even the breezes that blew through that place carried the heavy aroma of rust. In fact, the air was so impregnated with the smell of blood that Kizaer could practically taste it.
