Chapter 56:
The team keep advancing until some inhumans who have been brainwashed met them.
Captain Steve reminded us that there are some enhanced who can detect us and this guy's perception covered the whole mansion.
Guards and some inhumans were sent to intercept the team, some guards who drank strength potion and inhumans with random abilities have made it difficult for us to infiltrate the mansion.
I had to come as reinforcement and leave the job to Falcon, when I came in while there is a battle. Daredevil is fighting an inhuman who has the ability to spit acid along with a very long tongue. I used optic blast to knock out that guy as acid is very dangerous.
Captain is left fighting 4 men who drank strengthening potion so I just leave him be.
Jessica is fighting a woman with the same ability as her superhuman strength that has a physique like a fighter.
Luke Cage is taking on an inhuman that look like a gorilla with long arms ang black fur.
And Danny Rand is fighting several guards who have guns and other weapons.
I am confident that this guys can beat their opponents but the more time wasted here, the more reinforcements of the enemy will be sending. " Pietro, did you find the guy with perception ability?" I asked him while helping the others on fighting .
Pietro " I found her but she has some bodyguards and I'm currently fighting."
" Lyla do you hear that?"
" Copy, on the way."
Natasha's task is to find Whitehall and the laboratory will be left for me.
I directly found the underground laboratory with Natasha's assistance and many scientists and guards are leaving through a back door. ' How can I let them leave that easily'
I started throwing things to the scientist and then initiated an offensive against the guards, there are two guys who drank a yellow green potion and they started transforming into a monster.
They have greenish yellow skin, sharp teeth and they may have similar symptoms to the Abomination and Hulk but weaker version..maybe.
The two rushed while growling, I fought them in close combat. They are not completely mindless monster, I had to use optic blast with little force to target those scientists who are escaping.
The two abomination got angry that my attention is distracted and made them feel like not taking them seriously. That's where they are wrong, I used my extreme focus fighting them and not letting the scientists escape.
For ten minutes, the laboratory is half destroyed, 'shit, I need to really knock them out. '
In another minute, the two abomination fell down with broken limbs that slowly heals. I keep beating them until they have all have somewhat broken bones but the abomination continues to heals.
Four minutes past, the abomination started decomposing like a mummy, the moisture from their body is sucked up. ' I guess the more they heal their body, it consume their own body and kills them after no more energy is left to be sucked, This is probably the reason this is not used often by Hydra.'
With the abomination dead, I collected everything those scientists collects while escaping. Natasha already contacted the SHIELD to handle the aftermath.
I walked to some cells and found that some people are inside, I woke up the scientist who look like the head of this facility as he wears a different clothes.
" Open the cells, don't play a joke here" I broke one of his finger and he immediately ran to type a some kind of passcode and the cells open.
I slap the back of the head of that guy and shouted " Come out, all of you."
There are 6 guys and 3 women who came out, two guys have different look than normal people and they didn't dare looking at my face.
" Are you all inhumans?"
They just looked at each other and slowly nodded their heads.
" Let's go and get you out of here " I ran to the stairs as I already tied the scientist and guards with a rope I found inside the laboratory, their whole body is tied, even their mouth and eyes.
The nose is not covered to let them breath. The 9 inhumans follow me upward and met with the Captain and the others.
" Captain, these guys are inhumans, I don't know what their abilities are so let them choose whether they want to go home, go with SHIELD to be train as agent or follow us or even let them go just like that," I told him what to do to this inhumans " but leaving them on their own is foolish because either they will be just caught again or they will be a threat like us and forced to be imprisoned or sign the Accords.
Captain and others are smart enough to understand me but some of the inhumans we saved didn't noticed that the situation is not on their favour.
One man spoke " Sirs, some of us don't want to follow anyone and just want to go where we want to go… so If you may sir, we will just go and escape this place on our own."
" Listen kid, you are weak and will be just caught if someone want to find you and your abilities will even be seen as threat to the society" Luke Cage said not knowing where the confidence did this kid get from.
" For thanking you to help us escape sir, we will show you what can us do." The guy speaking suddenly showed his hands getting caught on fire and the heat is high as some of the inhumans started sweating.
Another guy transform into a full of sharp needles all over his body while the last guy who decide to show his ability transform his arms into a skin like wings similar to pterodactyl.
" Like we told you, you are weak and will be just get caught again even if you have individual ability, no one can protect you from the law, the government. When you commit a crime, you either be imprison or be a laboratory rat… similar to now." Matt Murdoch warned the inhumans not to disobey the law or they will regret it.
The first guy who speak was the fiery dude " if you sirs don't let us go, we will just force our way out and leave this place on our own." His hands started burning as he seems ready to fight.
I couldn't take it anymore as I use my optic blast to this three , the three simultaneous golden optic blast knock out the three to the wall and fainted. There is no injury other than being knock out.
" You can tie them up and leave them to SHIELD." Sam suggested.
Captain Steve also think about it and decided to leave this to SHIELD. Natasha with Pietro and Lyla is chasing Daniel Whitehall. The fight already been noticed by the government but the SHIELD is coming so let them deal with it.
In an hour, this base is cleared by us and nothing is left as everyone helps in dealing with the people inside. Another half an hour, the three Natasha, Pietro and Lyla brought the Half dead Whitehall.
His bodyguards and escorts are all dead and they fought some people who drank potions and just dealt with Whitehall at the end.
