“Enya!”
Hmm…?
“Enya!”
“Yes!” I shouted back while trying to slowly move my eyelids. The effort did not work… I could not wake myself up.
The cold weather made me appreciate the warmth of my thick blanket more. I remembered snowflakes falling last night… ever so slightly.
“Enya!” Mom still insisted on calling my name.
“Just a minute, mom!” I replied to her, shouting. Both my arms were still around my white side pillows with flowers on them. Even with my eyes closed, I could still feel the cold. It must have been what the snow last night left behind.
“That’s up to you… but Aiwal has been waiting for you a while now.” Her mother’s voice disappeared with the footsteps moving away from the white door. I opened my eyes widely and sprang up.
“Aiwal!?” I repeated the name uttered by my mom. The face of a boy with short, curly, brown hair and grey eyes appeared in my mind instantly… Surely enough, that face was expressing annoyance.
