"Brother Ximo, good to see you," said Zaimo softly, all the sinister aura surrounding him evaporating as if it had never existed.

Alm spoke dryly. "Lucky bastard. The first clan to come was precisely the dwarves'."

As they traveled, Alm and Bruno asked about the dwarf's life, just to try to bridge the gap between them. Ximo was Zaimo's brother and currently led the clan. They always got along very well.

Zaimo received the same treatment and resources as his brother, but only managed to reach the first level of the Body Destruction Realm, and his level of power and competence in all areas was well below average. This generated anger among the clan members, who saw Zaimo as a waste of resources, especially because his brother, the clan leader, favored him. Ximo's leadership was being severely affected; of his own accord, Zaimo volunteered to take care of an inland city to stop further harming his brother.
