A creature alive since the beginning of the universe, a supreme and primordial king, a proud existence that valued its life above all else, had sacrificed itself.

Alm and Bruno didn't need to fully understand the formation to know that the main assurance of completely sealing this creature was its life. With a third of the formation undone, a primordial creature would have the power to break free, regardless of the strength of the formation.
