Kapitel 162: Ch. 162: Saving the Planet (2)

"Guys, if you don't want to get punched, just stop being evil right now." I half-begged the evil Z-fighters surrounding me.

"Destructo-disk!" I got my answer in the form of a flying, razor sharp disk headed straight for my head. Naturally, I dodged it with ease. "Scattershot!"

"Whoa!" I knew exactly how dangerous that Destructo-disk was, so I kept track of it after it passed me by, and good thing I did, too, because when Krillin said the word 'Scattershot,' the single disk turned into ten smaller disks that changed directions and flew back toward me. If I'd let my guard down, they would've sliced me into ribbons, being too small and close together to dodge. Instead, I turned Silver mode up to a 25X multiplier, freezing Krillin's disks in my aura before crushing them. I couldn't use them against my friends, so I just destroyed them instead. Since I'd unsealed a bit more of my power after my fight against Gohan, my Silver Mode power right now was about 75% of the power I'd outputted as a Super Saiyan against Gohan, so it was more than enough to completely overpower Krillin. Right now, I was an unstoppable force.

Everyone backed away a bit, intimidated by my power, but they didn't stop. "Blazing Weekend!"

"Kamehameha!"

"Tri-Beam!"

"Masenko Haa!"

Suddenly, I was beset on all sides by energy waves. Raditz, Yamcha, Roshi, Krillin, Tien, even Garlic Jr's original henchmen and Videl were shooting me with energy waves while Chiaotzu tried to hold me still with his powers. Unfortunately for them, it wasn't even enough to hurt me.

"HAA!" I shouted, flaring my energy. That's all it took for me to swat their energy waves away en masse, forcing them away from me like it was a river and their energy waves were the waters splitting around the bubble of my energy.

"M-monster! Stay BACK!" Garlic Jr screamed, transforming into his giant form as he stepped back, terrified of my power. "I'll destroy Kami's bottle! Mr. Popo's too!"

"No, you won't." Suddenly, Garlic Jr found the glass bottles snatched out of his hands. Turning around, he saw Pigero standing there, holding the bottles containing Kami, Dende, and Mr. Popo in his hands, having stolen them straight from Garlic Jr's hands.

That was the plan that I'd talked through with him and Piccolo beforehand. I'd known that Garlic Jr would hold Kami hostage, so I'd taken Piccolo and barged straight in, while Pigero infiltrated the lookout silently, to wait for the moment that the little demon let his guard down, so that he could save the hostages. My display of power had been more than enough to terrify Garlic Jr into losing his head, giving Pigero his opportunity. Now, nothing was stopping us from beating Garlic Jr into a pulp and tossing him back into the Dead Zone where he belonged.

"Noooo! Give those back right now! Minions!" Garlic tried to order his minions, but he was too late. Pigero opened the bottles, freeing the Lookout team, before Piccolo took action, blasting the nearest Spice Boy to Pigero into a wall.

"Stay there." He demanded to everyone on the lookout. They all listened to him, except for Garlic Jr.

"Hahahaha! Ahahahahahaa!"

"What are you laughing about? You're going to lose, here and now." Pigero asked Garlic Jr.

"Even if you defeat me with that nonsensical, unfair power you possess, you still can't win! Ahaha, don't you see! The Black Water Mist becomes permanent after 24 hours, so I just have to hold you here, and you won't be able to save anyone!" Garlic Jr shouted maniacally, "And you can't even kill me! I'M IMMORTAL, YOU RUBES! With the power of the Makyo Star, so close to Earth, behind me, I can hold you here as long as I want to!"

I looked up. He was right. Suddenly, the Makyo Star was in the sky above us, blocking out the sun. "That wasn't there a second ago..." I muttered to myself.

'We found the dimension that it's normally in. It's right between the real world and the Dead Zone.' Shay informed me.

'So you know where the Dead Zone is, too?' I asked her.

'Yeah. We can destroy Garlic Jr's soul once he's stuck in there, to ensure he doesn't come back. All you have to do is trick him into opening it.' Shay told me.

I'd always been worried about Garlic Jr coming back. In canon, he'd just been stuck in the Dead Zone, perfectly alive and immortal. Theoretically, given enough time, it was inevitable that he'd eventually gather energy some other way and escape to wreak havoc on a future Earth. It hadn't really mattered in the canon because nobody was immortal there, so it wouldn't be an annoyance to them if something like that happened several millennia in the future. They didn't have to think ahead, but I would.

"Yeah, That's not happening." I gathered energy to blast the Makyo Star into space dust, but Garlic Jr flew overhead to intercept my energy with his body.

"AAAHHHH!!!" He screamed as my energy blast rendered his body into ash for an instant before Shenron's leftover power inside Garlic Jr regenerated him instantaneously. With my Super Saiyan powers, I was pretty sure that I'd be able to eventually destroy him permanently if I killed him enough, but it'd take days, maybe even weeks that I didn't have.

"Then I'll just shoot through you!" I shouted, powering up to Super Saiyan in a ripple of energy that knocked everyone in the lookout right off of their feet. "OOOOOOOHHHHH HAAAAA!!!!!"

"GOOD LUCK DESTROYING THE ENTIRE DEAD ZONE!" In a desperate last ditch effort, Garlic Jr finally opened a portal to the Dead Zone behind him. I could do nothing but watch as the portal sucked my blast up, before beginning to suck up everything else on the lookout. Videl and Master Roshi were the first to lose their footing and be sucked into the sky. But just I charged up for another blast, a white light pierced through the sky.
