Kapitel 74: Chapter 74 Queen Marika the Eternal..

Hun Yu coughed, breaking the heavy silence that enveloped them. His blindness was an unchangeable reality, but that didn't dampen his hopes for the future. He knew that ascending to godhood might hold the key to restoring his eyesight.

"So, turtle, where's the entrance to that hidden world you mentioned?" he inquired, his voice tinged with determination.

"We're here, at the seashore," the turtle replied, poking its head out of its pocket. "If I recall correctly, the entrance lies beneath the ocean—a temple submerged in the depths."

"If it's under the sea, then we have no problem," Bo Saixi remarked confidently. "My martial spirit is attuned to the sea; navigating its depths won't pose a challenge."

Hun Yu nodded in agreement as Bo Saixi conjured a protective shield around them. Together, they approached the sea, the shield repelling the water as they made contact with its surface.

Hours passed as they scoured the ocean floor for the temple, but to no avail. Suddenly, a tremendous pressure bore down on them, causing Bo Saixi's face to pale as she struggled to maintain the shield. With great effort, she released her martial spirit to withstand the pressure, and Hun Yu followed suit, aiding her in their joint resistance.

As the pressure gradually subsided, Bo Saixi took a deep breath, her gaze scanning the ocean's depths in bewilderment. What had caused such an immense force?

Hun Yu turned to the turtle for answers. "Could this pressure be a warning, perhaps from the guardian of the temple?"

"Undoubtedly," the turtle replied. "There must be a powerful beast protecting the temple, signaling us to stay away."

"I think we should go back and make a strategy," Hun Yu expressed his thoughts. "Rushing there mindlessly is not a good idea. It would be better if we could find some assistance."

"But I can easily defeat whatever it is," Bo Saixi interjected confidently.

"Don't be reckless," Hun Yu cautioned her. "The opponent's strength is unclear. We should not hurry."

As Bo Saixi heard this, she had no choice but to nod, though she was confident in her own abilities.

Soon, they arrived at the surface and found an abandoned house to stay in.

"Hmm... So, Turtle, can you tell us more about this world?" Hun Yu inquired.

The turtle emerged from his pocket, replying, "What would you like to know? I have many tales and legends that I can tell."

Bo Saixi, seated nearby, cast a curious glance at the colossal tree shining in golden light, visible from every corner.

"What is this tree?" she asked, her gaze fixed on the towering giant that surpassed even the clouds.

The turtle chuckled, its voice weathered with age. "Ah, that magnificent tree you see is the Erdtree. A venerable entity, older than most can recall."

Tapping its bony claw on the ground, the turtle continued, "Legends speak of a time when the Erdtree did not exist. The land was different then, some say untamed. But then, the Erdtree sprouted, its roots delving deep and its branches stretching high. With its emergence came a golden radiance, spreading across the land and ushering in order."

As Hun Yu listened, a flicker of memory danced in his mind... Erdtree? Golden Light?

"Is there anyone named Queen Marika the Eternal?" he interjected, seeking confirmation.

The turtle turned to Hun Yu, inquiring, "How do you know of Queen Marika?"

Hun Yu's face turned plain because he knew what this world was. The Lands Between is the name of this world.

The reason he could recall this was due to his increasing cultivation level, which strengthened his memory, making it easy to remember.

For some reason, though, he still couldn't recall anything about Soul Land.

From what he could remember, this world, The Lands Between, is a mess—almost anything can kill you here anytime, and there is a bigger problem: outer gods, mysterious entities trying to exert their influence over this world. Just thinking about them gives him chills.

Messing with the Outer Gods was like a firefly challenging a blazing sun.

So, the best course of action would be to avoid anything related to Queen Marika and the Outer Gods at all costs.

"Nothing. I just heard it from somewhere," he replied to the turtle's question.

The turtle heard this and did not pursue the matter anymore because the name of Queen Marika is widely known.

"Hmm, Turtle, do you know of anything that can help us defeat the guardian of the temple?" Hun Yu asked, quite certain that there should be an artifact or weapon that might aid them.

"Yes, there is one. And I happen to have it. It is called the Robe of Invisibility," the turtle finished speaking and pulled out a robe from nowhere.

As soon as the robe was out, it fell on the turtle, and soon there was no presence of the turtle in the room. Even Hun Yu was unable to locate it. Bo Saixi also looked astonished, unable to tell where the turtle was.

"Hehehe... See, this item is quite effective. It helped me escape dangerous situations many times," the turtle remarked.

"Indeed, this thing is good. I think we can easily go there without alerting that guardian," Hun Yu said.

Soon the turtle crawled out of the robe, and as it did, both the robe and the turtle became visible again. Bo Saixi suddenly picked up the robe and wore it.

Hun Yu also noticed the presence of Bo Saixi suddenly vanished, and he felt his cheeks being pulled. Startled, he exclaimed, "Bo Saixi! Stop messing around," unable to locate where she was; his senses couldn't detect her.

But he got no response. Instead, he felt a tickle on his stomach. In an attempt to grab, he waved his hand, but nothing came into his hand. He looked like a fool waving his hand in the empty air, but suddenly his hands touched something soft. As it touched, Hun Yu stopped his movement. Before he could react, he felt a sudden surge pushing him backward, and he fell to the ground.

Bo Saixi took off the Robe of Invisibility, her face red. Glancing at Hun Yu, she turned her face sideways with a huff and sat on the chair, a hint of red still visible on her face.

Hun Yu, confused on the ground, wondered, "What happened? What did I do to make her angry? Shouldn't I be the one to be angry?"

He stood up; since the problem was solved, it was time to look for that dagger.

"Okay, let's go," he said, picking up the turtle, and headed towards the seashore. Bo Saixi followed him silently. If one looked closely, they could see a hint of redness on her face.

Soon, they reached the seashore, and the first one to speak was the turtle. "Hmm, how are you two going to fit in this robe? I only have one."

"So..." The turtle stopped itself mid-sentence.

Hun Yu and Bo Saixi also understood what the turtle meant.

"Hmm, alright. Come, Bo Saixi," he said as he lifted the robe, and Bo Saixi moved closer to Hun Yu until their bodies were touching each other.

Hun Yu didn't say anything. He turned his head to the other side. Of course, it was normal to feel shy; he is a man.

Then he adjusted the robe so it could cover both of them.

Bo Saixi, whose face had a subtle blush, also noticed Hun Yu's shyness. Suddenly, she felt an urge to tease him, but she suppressed the urge, focusing on their current situation.
