Kapitel 2: Epilogue
The Union Aerospace Corporation was founded in 2015 by its founder, Thomas Kelliher. The corporation quickly came to hold contracts with many scientific firms and militaries. By 2019, the UAC as it came to be known, would control many types of powerful technologies, but secretive agreements with corrupt news media conglomerates made advancements unknown to the majority of the public. It was known only to some that UAC's founder and CEO at the time had deep roots with mass media.
In 2103, the UAC would unveil to the world its anti-gravity and hydrogen fuel cell technology, ushering in a new but expensive transportation option. The UAC demonstrated their new tech by launching a corporate satellite into orbit. Within the next year, they would establish their first corporate owned Earth-orbiting science station while making advancements in aerospace theory and by the next decade the were operating off-world colonies on the moon and Mars.
By the year 2110 UAC establish redesigned off-world habitats on far-flung asteroids and establish a network of scientific satellites in solar orbit throughout the system. The availability of faster spacecrafts necessitated the formation of the United Aerospace Armed Forces, or UAAF, with its main function of securing off-world mining and research colonies and eventually developing emergency response capabilities.
In 2119, UAC scientists on Mars proposed the idea of artificially stabilizing the orbits of the two Martian moons and in 2121, they launched missions from Mars with a robotic crew to Deimos and Phobos for that purpose. The robots build thrusters into the moons and installed experimental terraforming stations, the first human colonists arrived two years later and established scientific research bases.
In 2130, archeological insights lead corporate-owned satellites to discovered signs of artificial structures beneath Mars' surface, archeologists contracted by the corporation would uncover the ancient structures built by long-extinct species of intelligent aliens. As of the present time, researchers continue to unravel the alien history and understand more about their extinction.
In 2146, teleportation experiments in a Mars UAC facility result in making contact with a dangerous parallel dimension filled with horrifying creatures that invade the facility. Everyone involved in the experiments were killed, very few managed to survive the invasion and aerospace authorities successfully covered up the incident.
Throughout the corporation's history, a secretive group had closely monitored technological developments. Advancements deemed too consequential for humanity were held by the Paranormal Division, a sizeable group of devotees controlled by secretive aerospace divisions and super wealthy financiers, but occasionally the scale and scope of some projects would prove too difficult to bring under their control.
