The sound of my peculiar fingers tapping away at a large keyboard could be heard in my Hell-Batcave. Unlike my Batgarage, the mood here is rather sinister and brooding. And to be honest ... I don't mind it at all. On the contrary, it feels natural.
A lot of time has passed since the Morningstar visited Wayne Manour and thought it smart to mess with Batman. Because that's why he was there, he didn't want to see Bruce Wayne, he wanted to meet and play with Batman. John Constantine was the one who told him about Batman and that got his interest. My tools and technology caught his attention and the fact that I was so different from other Batman's out there in the Multiverse.
In honour of the long time that has passed since Batman entered this realm or dimension, I find it only fitting that I recount some things that have happened since.
.
- Day 0 -
The day this all began. I was drinking some tea when I was alerted that someone had arrived in front of Wayne Manor, without any of my sensors notifying me. I was aware that this could only be someone who was truly powerful. Not even someone of a chaos lord had such powers. No, it had to have been someone far more powerful than that.
I did the only thing I could ... and then he was there. Sitting in front of me, wearing that smile which spoke of confidence and arrogance. He knew he had surprised me. He could read me well, not hard for someone of his level. He arrogantly asked, no, ordered Sebas to bring him some tea.
I understood my situation very well. Nothing would work, nothing could get me out of that situation I was in. I understood that fact very well. So I did the only thing I knew would yield results. I knew that it had the highest chance of succeeding because it was the only thing that had any chance. All the other scenarios would result in all of my secrets being revealed and me possibly getting tortured for fun and information. My prognosis was... increasingly negative, the longer I thought about it.
So I provoked him. Acted all arrogant in front of him and the result was what I can only say, the best thing I could have hoped for.
I was aware ... Why did I do that? Why was angering the second or maybe third strongest being in this Multiverse the smartest and only thing I could come up with? We shall see.
.
- Day 1 -> Day 15 -
I was constantly fighting. The atmosphere and the mood in the realm pressed hard on my psyche, body and soul. It was all affected by the sheer negativity. And the different 'Evil Spirits' who thought that I was an easy and tasty snack, were making a very bad first impression. I lost an arm and parts of my leg during those days. I was closer to death than I had ever been. My control over the situation was slipping and getting very close to me actually losing control.
But that didn't happen. I persevered and reached a safe cave. I knew I was strong mentally, but that I managed to stay awake that day and not only stop myself from bleeding to death but also create prosthetics ... that was impressive, even for me.
.
- Day 15 -> Year 5 -
The ripping and tearing didn't stop, but it was more controlled. I targeted those who were alone and whom I could capture. I began slowly. First I had to build an energy source for myself and I am happy to announce that after all these years, I not only managed to discover the malicious version of electricity but also made very good use of it. But more on that later.
As soon as I had access to some energy, I created a battery from which I made myself weapons. I knew that this would become a Doom Slayer-type situation and I had to start from somewhere. So technology and a new body were what I wanted.
I created nanites that I took inspiration from the novel 'Nanomachine'. I wanted them to help me when I eventually transfered my brain and consciousness + soul into a new body. I went full Kenjaku from Jujutsu Kaisen on that one. It was important because I knew that my body wouldn't make it much longer. Not because the realm was still bothering me, no I had long acclimated to that. It was because I knew that my physical body would wither away with time and also grow weaker.
I couldn't have that. So I simply gathered parts from all over the dimension and created the 'perfect' body for myself. I mixed the elements of Batman with Big Chill from Ben 10. I also gave myself powers that I could find amongst the Evil spirits. Hellfire breath was one of them, as well as the usage of their magic.
I automated the process of my brain being cut from my body and then being transferred to the other body. Using the nanites, I managed to perfect the procedure and now had a powerful body that still had room for further improvements.
.
- Year 5 -> Year 256 -
That's right. I spent 251 years hunting down different creatures and experimenting on them. I took them apart and either made them into mindless beasts that would obey my commands or added what interesting and powerful features they had, to myself.
I literally ripped and tore through hordes of creatures. It had become public knowledge that someone was hunting them and in retaliation to that, a specific hunting party was formed. I, of course, welcomed that, since I wouldn't have to hunt them myself. I set many traps using the constantly increasing amount of technology I was creating.
When they arrived at the place where my fake tracks led them, I captured them all and used them for my experiments. My inhibitions had lowered drastically over the years. One could say that my inner Thanos was showing. And it wasn't just that. I was an amalgamation of multiple characters with unbreakable will.
Batman, Thanos and also Azmuth and Rick Sanchez, or the multiple versions of them. My mind wasn't going crazy, it was being tempered. I was growing stronger here. My soul and my mind were being tempered the longer I stayed here. I killed and experimented on these creatures like it was nothing. That didn't mean, I would do the same to humans.
That was exactly the point. I wasn't going crazy, but stronger. I added more and more things to myself and using the increasingly powerful technology, I improved myself. I already said that they weren't ready for what was to come.
.
- Year 256 -> Year 471 -
I was busy constructing my magnum opus. The greatest of all my creations to date. And it all started with an idea, a thought, a possible solution ... my last lifeline.
I had created a powerful computer and everything associated with it. I needed that to create my 'magnum opus'. After all, it would be used for payback and the time should be upon us soon. I worked on it for years. And that is saying something. Nothing, not even the 'Universal Programmer' took me years to create. Granted I didn't have very good material at hand, but for me, that is just an excuse. I like to name everything how they are. And using years to create this is a long time.
After I finally had it complete, I think I almost cried in joy. This was my greatest creation. Nothing would probably come close to this in this universe. Not even that stupid 10th metal thing that basically granted wishes. Bah, how is it impressive to create something like that, if the metal you use already has wish-granting properties? Anyone could do that.
I knew it wasn't the time to use this beauty, but I knew that it was time to finally connect it. I calculated that about 118 days have passed on Earth. That was about 4 months. This was the perfect time to start gathering what this magnificent technology had been created to gather.
I quickly built a connection to ALFRED and hoped that he would notice it and do what he was supposed to. My little helpers should have been doing their thing for four months now and were surely ready.
And indeed, not even a day later, my 'magnum opus' was receiving the energy, making me very happy. Now the snowball had started to roll and in a few months, he would be too big to stop. I knew that he was actually already too big to stop, but with this Multiverse, you never knew.
.
- Year 471 -> Year 633 -
I had done it. The snowball was now too big to stop and I could finally do what I have been planning for centuries now. The plan, I had come up with on very short notice, would soon bear fruit and allow me to exact my revenge on the arrogant prick that brought me here. I was fine never dealing with him. I wouldn't have cared if he had opened a shabby cafe in Gotham and been done with it.
But he had to come to MY HOUSE, take control of MY BUTLER and then shit all over me and throw me into this shithole. So it was no longer possible for me to let this slide. He had tickled the sleeping dragon and thought it was a bunny. But he was wrong. I am f*cking Batman and he will share the trauma all of my adversaries get when pissing on my lawn.
That's right, I was going to give him trauma.
.
I went to work immediately. The energy I had gathered, was used to infuse the barrier of this realm. I started to isolate the realm and separate it completely from Earth. Nothing could get in or out. It won't take long until someone notices this, but it is already too late for that. My hand has been played and all the other poker players are lacking.
.
- Year 794 -
"This leads me to this moment. I have taken over all of the dimensions and every one of you good people are now my loyal workers. Isn't that right Etrigan?", I say to the chained creature in the box behind me. He could hear me very well, everyone could for that matter. I had activated the microphone so that they would hear me.
"MNPPNMNMMPHHHJ"
Only muffled sounds could be heard.
"Yeah yeah, you bundle of joy. Now shut up. A battery shouldn't be so loud. Otherwise, I would have to do more research on it ...", I say and all sounds stopped.
"Heh, that was fast. This makes me wonder whether you don't like me anymore. And that after I took such good care of you. It was your decision to attack me. You and your stupid society of disgusting cretins. I can't help but pity all of you. I have stopped hating you a long time ago. Who wouldn't pity such sad pissants."
A few years ago, the strongest of the realm banded together in the hopes of defeating me. They were in for a surprise. I had to admit that they were indeed powerful, but against me ... a Batman who had over 700 years of preparation time? Yeah, they didn't stand a sliver of a chance. It was embarrassing, to be honest. I was far too powerful and my tools, were also too powerful. I outclassed them in any way possible.
I taped away and entered the final commands into the computer and then ... it was done.
*WWWHHHOOOOOOSSSSHHHHH*
A blinding light could be seen and a strange sound was heard and then a small explosion.
*BOOOM*
.
There, standing in front of Batman stood a man. Blonde hair, a tuxedo on and a class of wine in his hand. But the surprise on his face was genuine and made Batman quite pleased with himself.
"What the-"
"Welcome Lucy, to my realm."

For all of those who thought Batman couldn't deal with this situation. I am having quite a bit of fun right now. Next chapter I will reveal his plan and bullsh*t my way through, how that was even possible.
