Kapitel 419: 419: The birth of the princess

"You look to be in a complicated mood. I thought you would be happy that things were moving according to your plan. But you look anything but happy."

Grand Duke Lucius looked at the other man he called a 'friend.'

The Crown Prince of the Azure empire looked in a complicated mood. It looked happy one minute and annoyed the next second.

Moreover, he did not seem inclined to share what was causing him to behave this way, so the Grand Duke had to ask this question himself.

"You are right. I should be happy because my plan goes exactly how I want it to. But I wonder why I am feeling regret now. Is it because I saw a possibility for that child to be free from this mess, and I ruined it for her?"

Regret dropped from his words, yet the Grand Duke knew his friend well. His friend would not do anything to change the situation and help Sui out, not after all that he had planned to do.
