'She is not happy! Concubine Alex must be fuming on the inside. Will we be alright after offending Concubine Alex in her territory like this?'

Sui had a feeling that Concubine Alex was thinking of ways to kill her and the princess in her head right now.

It made Sui nervous to receive such negative attention, and Sui's hand tried to clutch an invisible knife for protection.

Of course, her current robes did not have anything of such sort, and Sui was left grabbing air.

"Are you nervous, Sui? There is no need to overthink anything. These people are not worth your time or effort."

The princess assured Sui while sneaking her hand around Sui's waist in an escorting gesture.

It felt odd, and it also made Sui forget whatever thoughts she was thinking about.
