Enel turned casually to Commander Marian standing nearby, his tone light and almost teasing. "So… are the werewolves planning to eat him, or is this just for show?"

Enel could already tell that this werewolf commander intended to threaten him. In order to scare him. After all, a meeting had been called and Enel was the reason for it.

She obviously wanted to teach him a lesson.

Her response was immediate and vehement. "Eat him? We're werewolves, not savages!" She crossed her arms, glaring at him. "The cursed werewolves were once human too. That would be cannibalism."

Enel raised a brow, clearly amused by her indignation. After all, cannibalism was not new in the world, much less in Imperilment. "Fair enough. Then what exactly is the plan?"

She smirked, gesturing toward the condemned man with a flick of her hand. "We're going to punish him. Watch closely."
