Kapitel 1: THE BROKEN SEAL

The white blanket was tightly tugged by the sleeping figure in the biggest room of the mansion. She was tossing around a lot which caused the blanket to wrinkle under her all through the night. The night mare was haunting her again and as the first ray of sun light hit her half conscious figure, she sprung up on the fluffy mattress. The lily white skin of hers was evident as usual and the chewed pink plump lips adding to the mess. She was panting hard but calmed down realizing it was just another night of her worst dream.

"Who in the world are you to torture me every night?" She crunched her face trying to remember the shadow that visits her every night with the sweetest yet darkest punishment.

The shadow should be a male because she hears some random blabbering in deep voice through out the course of her dream. He seems to be very tall and well build too but does that give him the authority to invade her dreams? The dreams of the most eligible angel in the province? Kristen shook her head as the bird chirping penetrated her ears. She had a lot of work to complete in the following week and for that, she needs to stop getting distracted.

Her legs found the way to the mirror, as she checked her pale skin which was glowing under the natural tint of the heavenly aura. Her slender fingers wrapped around her chest as she observed every inch of her, a small smile eventually crept to her heart shaped lips. She was pretty, definitely the prettiest angel that the heaven could ask for and the pride in her eyes never faded.

The sky looked pale blue and to the contrast, the blossom was bright pink which was the morning view for the bunch of girls since some months. They really enjoyed it, it seemed unusual yet pleasant to their eyes. They wondered what happened in such a short span of time for the situation to flip upside down because the past three years were hell. The hell was literally ruling the heaven and even the Almighty seemed to be of no help to them. The girls were roaming around the garden as they chirped about the future plans and the upcoming royal wedding.

The place was not crowded or loud but the happy vibes were flying through the gentle breeze and the faint fragrance of Promythe was hallucinating them. Promythe, the royal flower which guards the gate of heaven from the eyes of evil. The bright pink cluster flower which anyone would want to preserve with their dear lives. The little angels were playing around here and there with their maids, older angels watching them with heart eyes.

"They all are happy. I wish that the time would stop here." The Goddess spoke as she clutched her hands on the man's forearms.

"Your son seemed to have calmed down but that only calls for a war in the near future." The God sighed as he closed the curtains, darkening the room.

The Goddess hung her head down, unable to meet her beloved's saddened eyes. Only if she could raise him well like the other kids, only if she could be the perfect mother like she was mentioned in the books. She was always ashamed of herself whenever she watched some one tell her stories for kids to sleep, how they tried to copy her generous gestures. Who is going to tell them that she brought a monster to the world, as a trouble for everyone? The darkness which randomly spread over the world was caused by her creation?

"It is not your fault, Linda. He chose his path and we were not able to help him out." The God seemed to have said that out of habit.

"How long will you dump the entire blame on him? It was our mistake that we never took out our time to be with him. You are the God and you had to fulfil your duties but as a mother, I failed. I terribly failed to see that my son, our son was choosing the wrong path." A tear drop rolled down her pink cheeks which fell down the red carpet as a white pearl.

A maid immediately picked up the pearl and kept it inside the emerald craved antique box. It was brim full by then and the God hated it, its his wife's tears and being the guardian of the whole world, he couldn't even control it. How powerless has he been for the past centuries, all thanks to the man who is ruling over the world with his heartless and ruthless commands. Linda couldn't even get her vision anywhere near to the boy, as God had banned the portal for the good.

Their awkward silence was broken when two guards rushed into the room without any manners. The God knew something was up but Linda was unbothered as she thought it would be something related to the wedding to be hosted by the end of the week. They have been preparing well for the first royal event which was happening after centuries, something good for once in the heaven. The guards kneeled down in front of them, their head touching the marbled floor, completely covered from the reach of the other.

"What is it?" He stepped to the stairs, looking at his guards in concern.

"Th-the seal. I-it's fading." One of them struggled to spell it out.

The God didn't surprisingly have any reaction to it as he slowly turned back to look at his wife who now had her eyes wide open and mouth hung low. She was hoping for peace at least till the wedding was over so that they could secure the seal with all precautions and it took forever for the angels to convince her to it. She was kind of relieved but at the same time, she was too stunned to speak. Does this mean another war, another sleepless era?

"Lord." Her trembling lips manage to utter a single word which hid a lot of emotions behind it.

"I am sorry but he left us with no option." The God spoke sternly as if it was warning for her to stop going further with requests.
