"Really?" Arlo appeared surprised.
"I would love to be friends with you, Arlo," I responded, smiling.
At this, Arlo's face broke into a broad grin. He reached out, took my hand, and shook it vigorously. "Thank you, Princess Amelia! I'm so happy to hear that," he said joyfully. "And now that we're friends, may I call you by your name?"
I nodded. "Of course, you can."
"Amelia," he called out. "It's an honor to be your friend."
"Likewise," I replied with a smile. "By the way, Arlo, has anyone ever told you that you have a warm smile? It's particularly charming, just like a warm sun."
Now that I was talking about this, I couldn't help but recall the way my maids described Prince Killian as warm as the sun. For me, Arlo was more like a warm sun, comforting and charming, whereas Killian was more like the cold moon, mysterious and captivating.
