The moment Bhatmelec injured him in the future, Vincze used his skill, [Sagacious], and prevented that future from happening. Since the future that Bhatmelec created didn't come to reality, that future created another reality where Vincze was wounded.

Since they both had been doing that for hours, the atmosphere around them became so dense and suffocating. Nobody was allowed to get close to them because they could be sucked into another reality and would be problematic.
