Arsha got up as early as 6:00 PM the next day and just after opening his eyes, he sat up on the bed and stretched his arms.

That was the moment when he noticed something on the floor beside his door, someone seemed to have slid something into his room from under the door and he could tell from where he was sitting that it was a newspaper.

"Hmmm."

He got up on his bed and made his way to the door to pick the newspaper up, and now that he had it in his hand, he turned it around.

The headline was just about what he expected.

'Top-ranked second-year student survives a sting from a scorching scorpion while his teammates perish.'

He stared at the headline for a while before throwing the whole thing aside.

"Nonsense."

He got ready for classes the same way he usually did after going through the compulsory morning exercise and by 7:00 AM when the students were supposed to be having their breakfast, he was already heading for the gate.
