Rebus watched his lover disappear, and the whole world morphed. Even his soul that was not bound to this world ascended to heavens.
"Master...." a soft voice whispered, patting his shoulders.
"Master, wake up."
Rebus shot up, panting softly. He was back at the place where he belonged, back in the burned down castle. "I have to hurry,"
"Wait, master, slowly down," the little nymph shouted. "Did you succeed? Did you get goddess Nyx's soul?"
Rebus suddenly stood up, but his lame leg pulled his weight down. Unsteadily, he stumbled down onto his knees. He glanced back at his burnt leg and gently caressed it. "Lupis, can you find a way to heal my leg? I can let Nyx see me like this."
The little nymph sighed. He scratched at his wavy blue hair in frustration. "You were burned by the heavenly flames, master. It can't be healed at all."
