My body felt heavy and my sight was still reeling.
Sya had just gotten in with a tray full of something I wouldn't like.
"Ginger tea," she said as she placed the items individually to the side table, "Tomato soup and bananas. All good for your hangover."
Hangover, right.
I suddenly remembered everything last night, the woman, and the punches.
"Who brought me home?" I asked although I knew what the answer is.
"Your fathers," she replied as she opened the wide windows.
I knew it.
Her gaze lingered outside for a little before cheerfully turning to me, "I can't believe that citrus tree is in bloom. It has been fruitless as long as I remembered."
Fruitless.
"I don't understand why some trees miraculously bear fruit when they are to be cut down," she added. "Interesting, isn't it?"
I ignored her story and asked something else, "Where are they?"
