Kapitel 3: Chapter 3
After remembering everything he could only smile, as he knew he had spoken to god, as he looked around he suddenly felt an avalanche of small memories and another bigger one the small memories were of his life in the orphanage and the other the knowledge of Tony Stark which he could access a small part he could already imagine what to do with that, this made him smile unconsciously.
From small memories he knew he was in an orphanage, apparently he was found at the door of the orphanage with a letter with his name "Walter Todd Wick" surprisingly his initial name was Walter which was one of his favorite characters from an anime called Hellsing, conforming this also had the last name Wick, we could say he was one of the best known of action movies and one of the people with the strongest will there is, and Todd just like the character from Chaos Walking.
Looking around the small room he saw a letter on the desk by the side of the bed.
"Hi Todd, if you are wondering about your powers, the eyes and noise powers will awaken at 5 years old, with a gift since you can't use chakra and due to the modification I made you can't use the other powers, you will also get Walter's knowledge of how to use his threads when you turn 5."
PS: Look in the mirror
PSD: You will be his adolescent version, but you won't be his older version when you grow up but a mix with someone else I hope you like it."
As he finished looking at the letter he saw it fade away. As I approached the mirror I smiled I already knew why he called me Walter and what he meant by threads, since I looked a lot like Walter from Hellsing in child version I smiled and seeing me smile I can assure that despite being a child I have the damn charm of Walter as a young man, I immediately thanked god since he must have known he was one of my favorite characters since I really liked the way he used his threads in the anime and his fight with Alucard. And since god had arranged for him not to be his old man form since it wasn't the best way to age since it took a lot of beauty away from him to age like that haha.
Now I think sister Elizabeth will come to wake me up and as if she was summoned they knocked on the door.
"Todd, get up, it's time for you to wake up," Elizabeth said.
Knocking on the door it was Sister Elizabeth calling to wake me up.
"I am awake Sister Elizabeth"-Todd.
I reflexively answered with a smile.
The orphanage was subsidized by the church which led to a sister and father running the church. Apparently I am 4 years old and seeing that I was very smart they gave me a room to myself.
As I was changing I was thinking about what to do in this world, I guess I will follow my mother's advice to do whatever I want.
But I guess in a world like this it would be better to have a plan. Too bad I can't do even a quarter of what Tony Stark could do as I don't have the resources for that, although I think the orphanage has a garage where they throw away everything both tools and materials, I'd have to take a look at it.
As far as I know the noise will wake up around my 5 years which will cause my thoughts to be projected, I have to find a way to stop them from being projected when I don't want them to be, but this will make my powers weaker as far as I understand the longer you project your thoughts the more powerful they are, I should find a way to not project all my thoughts and maybe leave only the most superficial ones and the most secret ones deny their projection although this would make me project things like when I find a lady beautiful or more superficial thoughts and ideas, it would help my powers grow a lot since I will need it. Walter's powers I will have to create the threads I will use, I already have an idea of an anime for this, only Obito Uchiha's powers would be left, I would have to look for a fear drug like the scarecrow but that would induce a terrifying dream, I think there will be one of those in Gotham and yes I'm in freaking Gotham.
As I go downstairs I see kids and sister already seated at the dining room table.
"Hello, good morning"-Todd.
I greet everyone in general which surprised them since I'm not much of a talker.
"Hi Todd come sit down breakfast is ready"-Elizabeth.
I guess it's not so bad here I smiled as I ate, sister cooks pretty good and I say that I worked for some very good cooks in my world.
After finishing breakfast sister went out to the backyard with the kids to play while I went to meet father as I want to ask permission to go into the basement and go to the library. I can't wait to test the knowledge I know, although I shouldn't show too much without also going to the library and have them notice that I read a lot of books.
Knock Knock, I'm outside Father's study while I wait.
"Come in"-Father Anderson
A voice was heard from inside the study.
As I enter I see a man who looks like Father Anderson from hellsing I can see why the name.
"Hi Todd what can I do for you."-Father Anderson
He said smiling kindly, from what I remember the father used to have a very difficult life, according to the memory I have as I hear on the sly he was an experienced exorcist for the church serving to stop demon invasions exorcisms and such, although he is currently retired due to injury and asked the church to return to his hometown Gotham and take care of the orphanage here.
"Hello father, I wanted to ask if I could come into the garage to get parts to repair the broken refrigerator"-Todd as he was arriving had already thought of an excuse and remembering the old refrigerator in the corner immediately proposed it to the father.
The father was surprised. He knew Todd's intelligence was quite high but he didn't know he could put appliances together or repair them.
"Todd, are you sure you can do this? Won't it be too much work for you?"-Father Anderson.
Seeing his age I didn't know whether to let him do it since it's a little dangerous for children to play with electrical equipment.
"Father trust me, I can do it," Todd said.
As he looked seriously at the father.
The father seeing how serious Todd was couldn't help but smile.
"It's okay you can use the tools in the garage but it needs supervision, I'll tell Sister Elizabeth to supervise you for an hour a day while you're at it"-Father Anderson.
Hearing the father jumped with happiness as if they saw he could fix it they would allow him more freedom
"Father I can go into the library too, I promise not to break any books"-Todd.
I look at him with puppy dog eyes.
"Fine you win Todd, but on one condition, all the books you take out you put them back and you will only be allowed 3 hours a day, but you have to play with the other children"-Anderson.
"Okay father I accept"-Todd.
After talking a little bit and saying goodbye, when he left he could see sister Elizabeth coming in and quickly informed him what he had talked about with the father and asked him to supervise him tomorrow and so he played outside for a while, chatted with the children and played until dinner time and went to sleep.
The next day Todd after breakfast asked the sister to open the garage that was locked, seeing it full of things piled up and a little dust he started to clean which the sister helped while the father watched the children, when he finished cleaning he had discovered that the garage was quite equipped with many tools, welders and even a lathe, according to sister Elizabeth this was a donation that they kept if they needed to sell it if at some point the orphanage had no money, and because they didn't need the money they kept it here, when he finished cleaning he took tools to take apart the refrigerator to see what was wrong with it, when he finished and saw what he had he repaired it with the loose parts that were in the garage, after fixing it he called the father who was surprised since he didn't expect him to fix it so fast or even fix it, he thought he couldn't, Elizabeth was proud since Todd had fixed it by himself without any help but the one he needed to move things which she gladly helped.
After that the father allowed Todd to have more freedom if he wanted to build or repair something which led Todd to spend a very nice month fixing gadgets that didn't work, this he did to get practice because even though he had the knowledge in a new body he would not have the motor skills he had in his past life or Tony Stark's. This took him until the end of the month to be able to get his fabrication skills up to an acceptable range, in this time he also spent a lot of time in the library and helping Sister Elizabeth with the other orphans, who will now consider him an orphan, This took him until the end of the month to get his manufacturing capabilities up to an acceptable range, during this time he also spent a lot of time in the library and helping sister Elizabeth with the other orphans, who would now consider him a big brother as he always helped the children with whatever he could no matter their age.
At the end of the second month Todd talked to his father about trading what he was making in the garage which he would give a portion of to the orphanage.
