Kapitel 2: Chapter 2

It'll take Father around one hour to ready a small armada. I only really need to get my sword. I suppose I can check up on some of my projects while I'm at it. When I was ten father asked if I wanted anything as a reward for being more competent than my brothers at that age. All I wanted was access to funds to start some projects on some ideas I had related to the Armada. Faster and more resilient ships. More competent and diverse foot soldiers. The Parademons weren't bad per se but they could be better far better. Desaad like the suck-up took offense to that and said they were perfect subservient soldiers that what due for their long and what more would we need. Them to be better was my response. Faster and stronger for starters. But anyway I was given funding and five tears to show results or his favorite child or not I would suffer for wasting resources.

Obviously, I did not. I created three new sub-categories of Parademons using genetic material I gathered myself. They were The Berserkers, The Infiltrators, and my personal favorites so far The Juggernaut. I've managed to create fifty Berserkers and Fifty Infitratora, but only five Juggernauts. The required source material was hard to come by and I don't settle for subpar work. If it's made by me it has to be done right.

The Beraekers were injected with a serum I created using rate heard and previously unknown compounds I found on star sectors conquered by my father. It gives the Parademon the added ability of regeneration, and bine generation and triples their strength in exchange for all their reason except obeying the commands of their superiors, which I encoded into the serum. However, since the materials are hard to come by and Trial and Error are up most of them fifty is all I could create for now. They also possess a trump card ability to ignite their blood and sacrifice their regenerative capabilities to further double their strength. But a test run on a planet I found showed that in most cases to conquer a planet only requires five to ten berserkers maximum. So my Father deemed the investment in them with it.

The infiltrators are an amalgamation of species that took me three years to find the right ratio to achieve equilibrium. But the end product was a Parademon with the standard physical capably increase by one point five. And the added abilities of camouflage, acidic blood, and breath. Both of them are flammable, have a bladed tail, capable of infrared and x-ray vision they each can lay up to a hundred eggs that create new infiltrated that reach adulthood in a matter of hours. Fifty became five thousand, which became five hundred thousand which became the ultimate army. Unfortunately, the infiltrators that spawn from eggs only live for three days. A problem the originals don't share. But it's a blessing in disguise I suppose considering the outcome of an out-of-control start of reproduction. The test run for infiltrators made my father smile. That should say enough.

But the Juggernauts are my current crowning achievement in the field of bioengineering. They are twice the size of a regular Parademon and sport three horns two at the side and one in the firheaf. They're five times stronger than a regular Parademon and are used as training partners for the Furies. And the feedback received from the girls and the injuries they sported spoke volumes of their potential. The ability that makes them the greatest danger and the one I'm most proud of is kinetic energy absorption. Where in motion or from attacks. In a Battlefield situation, the tanks are always full. They can dish out the stored energy in beams from their mouths or in omnidirectional waves. The Furies call them the perfect counters.

The test run for then had a planet subjugated and added to the empire within an hour. And if I could have more of the genetic material necessary to convert the entirety of the Apokolip army into the three kinds of Parademons. Our child war with New Genesi would become a slaughter.

I suppose my struggle to find them is proof of the balance in all things.

As I arrived in my lab and started going through my other projects. I got an intrusion alert. Some had entered my room just above my lab. But I already know who it is and what they want. Which meant I had to cut one of my favorite pastimes short.

"Delta run all the possible genetic combination with samples with have in stock. And calculate for the maximum compatibility ratio." I ordered my AI.

"Right away Sir" responded a feminine voice.

I warped upstairs as there was no entrance to my lab and thus without forced entry which I don't recommend only I enter. In my room looking for me was my younger brother Grayven. Like me he was brought back to Apokolips by his father after one of his conquering exploits. He had purple skin, white hair, and red pupils with black sclera.

He was currently nine years old and was an adorable pain in my ass. Since Kalibak won't give him the time of Day and Father is busy with war plans here he is bothering me as usual.

"Brother" he shouts with enthusiasm upon noticing my arrival.

"Yes Gray, what is this time" I sighed before asking. Because I already knew what he wanted.

"Can I come with Father, you and Kalibak? I promise I'll be have. And I'm string I have Omega Beams like Father and You and Kalibak says that my strength is impressive for my age" he asked before pleading his case.

"No Gray, Father's instructions were clear. Only I and Kalibak will accompany him and the armada." I replied to which Grayven looked down crushed at not being able to prove himself.

"But, I'll leave a Juggernaut here for you to train with. You've asked for a while now. If and only If you defeat it before we return, I will convine Father to allow you to join me on the next voyage" Upon hearing my offer he lights up and jumps into my arms to hug me.

"Thank you, brother, I won't let you down," he said before racing out of the room.

I chuckled at his departure before outstretching my right hand. In an instant, a sheathed sword appeared in it. I strapped it to my waist before teleporting in front of the palace. I see Kalibak in full armor with his trusty club-ready. The doors to the palace opened and Father floated out. The doors of the flagship opened and Father followed and I entered.

Father took his seat with Kalibak and I standing by his right and left side.

"LET THE INVASION BEGIN," he said as his eyes glowed with the power of the Omega Effect.
