Kapitel 56: Incarcerate

The peak was alive as it shook the ground lightly, the heat that escaped was almost similar to the sun as the heat continued to increase. Many were taking notice of the volcano, and the wrath it was bringing upon the lands.

Steam. Fire. Ashes. Heat. Lava.

All of these things were causing a lot of harm, damaging trees and entering bodies of water making it unsafe to drink.

Baldur didn't seem to be scared as he approached the peak, his smirk was visible upon his maw. To him it was a perfect place to use to and kill a traitor.

Razer looked around taking notice of dead bodies of those who didn't escape the volcanoes rage. The bodies were those who were blind and were caught up in the volcanic crossfire.

The closer Baldur's clan was to the volcano, the more damage they would see. Along with it, the more danger they were walking into.

Juggernaut looked around, the fumes of the ashes and soot was beginning to irritate his eyes and sense of smell. "How much closer are we getting?", he asked with a irritated tone.

"We are going to the top.", replied Baldur who looked excited. His red eyes were taking the color of the fire around them.

Sawtooth looked around, his eyes were focused on the destruction that the peak has caused. This eruption was pretty bad, but of course this volcano was always known for its unspeakable rage. His eyes looked at the others, most of them from what he could see were showing a bit of fear.

That was a normal response, after all they all knew how unpredictable a volcano was.

"Let's keep going.", chuckled Baldur clearly unfazed by the danger.

As he continued forward, the rest slowly followed.

"Devastate! Wait!", yelled Bloodmaw who was following after him.

The behemoth was walking forward rather recklessly, he was looking forward with clear determination. He was not going to wait around while something happens to Belle.

Bloodmaw looked back as he continued to follow Devastate, it would seem a few of the clan had followed after them. While some stayed back to wait for Helm and Dingo.

It was close to being nighttime, and that was evident as the darkness slowly closed in around them. The blind beasts were awfully quiet which was a surprise, since they always made their calls during the night.

"Devastate, Stop for a second.", spoke Bloodmaw in a serious tone. "Let's wait for the others."

The behemoth blinked as he slowed down to a stop, though he was hesitant to fully stop. He looked forward with a uneasy expression.

Bloodmaw looked at Devastate silently before looking back waiting for the others to catch up.

"Thanks for waiting.", heaved out a tired Gambit.

Bloodmaw looked at him with a small smile, he looked up as he noticed Adder walking up with Scarface. "Ruby let you go?"

Scarface sort of smiled, "I snuck away."

Bloodmaw blinked and he chuckled lightly, "Lord help you when you return."

Scarface sort of smiled again at his remark, Ruby was pretty scary when she got mad.

"Grim said he would watch the clan while you are gone.", spoke Adder as he looked at Bloodmaw.

Bloodmaw nodded to him, feeling at ease that Grim was watching over things. He would probably carry out the move as well once Helm and Dingo were to return.

Scarface blinked as he heard a noise, looking back did he see Lockjaw.

Bloodmaw looked at him sort of surprised, "You coming along?"

Lockjaw nodded, "A certain baryoynx asked me too."

Gambit sort of smiled, "Did he really ask you?"

Lockjaw looked at him before replying, "Yes."

Gambit's smile faded, "Oh, why would he?"

Bloodmaw smirked, "I guess he wants to watch my kids, and he figured that Lockjaw would help. Which I know he will."

Lockjaw nodded curtly, "Of course."

Bloodmaw looked at Devastate with a faint look of worry, he knew full well how on edge he was. "We need to think this through okay?"

Devastate slowly looked at him and he silently nodded, he slowly looked outward with a rather uneasy gaze.

Where was Belle now? Was she safe?

The heavy rustling of the leaves made a soft yet distinct noise, this noise was drawing the attention of a certain raptor who was knocked out. "..?"

Belle blinked her heavy eyelids as she slowly began to look around. "Where am I...?"

"Quiet!", replied a sharp and unkind voice.

Belle blinked as her eyes went wide, "Let go of me!"

She had now remembered that she was taken away from her clan. She was now with someone who she didn't even know.

Belle gasped as she was roughly shoved to the ground, and as she went to get up was she stepped on by someone rather bigger than her. "Hey!?!"

"I swear to god you don't shut up I will rip off your face!", shrieked her abductor.

Belle didn't know who they were but she looked down at the ground scared. She honestly felt lonely and helpless, and to make matters worse was that Devastate was not there to protect her.

She was going to have to do this alone. If she wanted to see him again, she was going to have to fight.

Wraith looked up toward the peak as she smirked, it won't be to much longer until she fully reaches there. She looked down at the white raptor with a cold glare.

How funny was it was that she was black while this raptor was white.

Wraith sharply spoke up, "If you don't want to die you do as I tell you."

Belle cautiously looked back, the voice she heard was a feminine voice. This baffled her only cause she could feel the searing hatred within her core. Whoever this was must of had a hard life.

Belle looked down as if debating on what she should do, after a moment did she say. "Okay..."

She blinked as she felt the foot on her back leave, as she slowly stood up was she shoved forward. "!?!"

"Walk!", snarled Wraith.

Belle caught herself before she hit the floor, she slowly began walking with her eyes down. She hugged herself with her petite hands, her heart pounding against her chest.

She honestly knew that she would have to fight her, but she didn't know if she could. Belle was aware of how strong she was, she was also bigger than her.

Belle glanced over her shoulder carefully and she saw a completely different creature. This female raptor looked so different from other raptors that she had seen.

"What is your name...?", asked Belle softly.

She blinked however when she was grabbed by the shoulders and was pushed down upon her back. Her blue eyes looked up at completely different colored eyes. "..!"

A flash of red and white appeared before her line of vision, Belle felt pain in her lower jaw. It took her then to notice that she was smacked.

Wraith glared at the white raptor with a look of rage and impatience. "I don't want to be friends with you! Next time you ask something I will cut your tongue out!"

Belle flinched as her petite right hand touch her jaw which was slowly beginning to swell up. "..."

She flinched again as she was forced up onto her feet and was pushed roughly forward. Belle looked ahead as she fought back the urge to cry. She kept her hand upon her swollen jaw as she thought about Devastate.

She loved everyone in the clan but what made it home for her was because of Devastate. Her home was wherever he was. Since she was not with him, she was not home.

Belle looked at this world as a suffering place, so many people wanted to hurt and harm the other. She felt bad for every living thing, and that included the blind.

Many would say that she was crazy or sheltered but she couldn't help the way that she felt.

Belle was aware of how dangerous the world was, but she didn't like to fight or hurt anyone. Every single day she watched Devastate fight for her, he put his life on the line to keep her safe.

When they were with Baldur, he protected her from all kinds of harm. Even going so far to lose one of his arms just to get her herbs.

She didn't know that though until she saw his arm dangling limp from his chest. He always played it off as he said it was sprained when clearly it wasn't.

Belle wanted to be like Devastate, she already made up her mind that she was going to fight. But how could she now? This raptor behind her was faster than she was.

If she fought her, she would no doubt die from her.

Death was not a option. She wanted to stay alive for Devastate.

Belle walked forward with this raptor behind her, she was aware of the harsh night that she was walking into.

The heavy sound of crickets made their calls once night hit, Bloodmaw was walking into the night with Devastate close at his side.

Bloodmaw had spoke of being smart about this, if they were to get Belle back they would have to be careful. The volcano was a threat but so was the many blind who were stalking around.

Scarface looked ahead, his expertise in tracking told him that Belle was being taken to the volcano by someone who they did not know. Whoever they were, their main target was not just Belle but Devastate.

The behemoth had thought about it, and he even told them that he was once in Baldur's clan. Devastate of course took Belle away from the clan and fled.

Scarface honestly couldn't imagine what Devastate had seen, but at least he was trying to turn things around.

To think that Baldur wants Devastate was a little concerning, but revenge knew no bounds.

Adder was coming along to get some kind of revenge himself for his father, Scarface knew that after the last fight that had happened between Devastate and Adder.

Devastate didn't fight back however, and Scarface knew why.

It was cause the behemoth felt like he deserved it, and that was proof enough that Devastate felt bad for what he did. Devastate listened to his heart more than his brain at times. Other times he didn't think at all.

Scarface looked at Devastate silently, he some what smiled. That was only cause he was changing. He didn't seem so closed off like he was when they were with Crusher. The behemoth was a little happier and it was because of a raptor.

That just went to show that anyone could change.

Scarface looked at Lockjaw silently, he still didn't know much about him but he knew that he was good deep down. Lockjaw was doing everything in his power to protect his mate, even though he went about it in a aggressive way. Everyone had a different way of protecting others from harm.

Scarface honestly hoped that Belle was alright though, if she wasn't then Devastate would not be okay.

Why? Only cause he had lost so much already.

Loss was a horrible thing, but Devastate had lost more than enough than anyone he had ever met. Scarface remembered that time, and he remembered how withdrawn Devastate was. Losing a family was a heavy loss to lose.

Devastate was trying so hard to protect his family, and in the end all of his efforts were wasted. They died and he couldn't do anything to save them.

Scarface looked toward Diablo's Maw with great uncertainty. He didn't know what was waiting for them there but he knew that it was not good. If Baldur was there, a fight would no doubt break out.

He hoped that things turn out well, and he was praying that no one dies.

If they work together then they could accomplish anything. There was strength in numbers, but there was more strength in teamwork.

The closer they got the more Scarface felt uneasy about this whole thing. His eyes narrowed as the scent of ashes grew stronger.

"Stick together, we don't want to get separated.", spoke Bloodmaw when he noticed the scent of ashes and soot.

By walking throughout the night they were close to the volcano, but not close enough to it like Belle was. Wraith had already made it to the top of the peak, where Baldur and the others waited for her.

Belle was shoved into a massive clawed hand, her petite frame was within the talons of Baldur. "..!"

Baldur smiled as he looked at her, the mouth of the volcano was behind him. The heat and lava made his ghostly body glow. "Hello there, remember me?"

Belle shivered in pure fear, her eyes shook as she looked at him. She remembered the pain he had caused her, and that made her fearful for her life.
