Kapitel 179: A Good Show

The door of our room was kicked down from outside. Ah! Mai Qi screamed in fear. I was disrupted from my thoughts. Mai Qi huddled towards me. I stood up and blocked her behind me.

"This is a raid! Show us your ID!" 7 policemen stormed into the room. They had solemn faces and fierce eyes. They didn't go easy on us because we were 2 girls under 20.

Before I could react, one of the officers hit my arm with his baton. "Quickly!"

My anger burned and I retorted. "Am I a criminal? How can you assault me?"

The officer was in his thirties. He had a pair of particularly malicious eyes. He looked at me and sneered. "Girlie you have a bad temper. If you don't cooperate, I'll sue you for assaulting a police officer!"

I stood my ground. "I didn't even move an inch, how does that count as an assault?"
