Xia Lihua had endured this nonsense for far too long. She leveled a fierce gaze at Xia Mengrui and retorted, "Perhaps you should focus on refining your vocal skills instead of bothering me. Making a mistake in an easy song isn't something to take lightly. It's better for you to back off."

Xia Mengrui quivered slightly under the intensity of the rebuke. "Sister, why are you being so harsh?"

While Xia Mengrui's slip-up might have been noticeable, the majority of the attendees were amateurs themselves. Imperfections in singing were not viewed negatively by everyone.
