Arthur sat on his chair as he stared at the starry sky of the kingdom. He was outside on the courtyard with a warm cup of tea in his hand. The perks of being the princess's right hand meant that he had access to moments of peace while the rest of the kingdom heals.

Two weeks had passed since his fight against the king and his acquisition of Breath of Ice along with his true heritage. To be honest, his affinity for magic now made a lot of sense. Maybe it was his demon blood blocking his awakening at the time. 

And now that he was fully human, physically speaking of course, his magic was finally able to manifest fully. To think he was a descendant of a powerful mage and the actual demon god was insane in so many ways. What happened to Thaddus anyway? Did he die?
