Kapitel 54: Summoned Again (2)

I couldn't stand the tone in which Ben delivered those words to me, but I'm grateful I was able to fight my way out of hell when he least expected it. That was a second opportunity for me to exact revenge on him for killing my friend, as well as for the punch he landed on my face the night he spotted me sneaking out of Alpha Cedrick's office. 

I yelled "Devil!" in my head because, at that very moment, I feared that I was going to get myself into another trouble that would send me back to the dungeon. However, I still couldn't help eying his waist to see if his bunch of keys were dangling at their usual spot, but the nefarious individual had gotten smart. 

I lightly brushed my fingers across Cerise's shoulder to show her how much I cared. 

She was the one person I loved in this world full of monsters that I hoped I could destroy with a simple sweep of my arm. She was my new friend. She was my new pet.
