Kapitel 36: How In The World?

"Oh, for the love of all that is holy! What the heck happened on around here?!" Ben yelled out in shock.

I was able to hear the loud thumping of his heart from where I stood, and it reminded me of the sound of a drumroll that is played just before something dramatic happens. 

It made me think of the heart rate of a marathon runner; he might be the fastest of them all, but I have a strong belief that his heart wouldn't beat this insanely even after running a marathon that was two hundred kilometers long.

The look on Ben's face was one that went beyond agitation; I had never seen him look so serious before, even though he had never really shown any emotion around me other than extreme distaste and annoyance. Mostly with a great deal of venomous hatred.
