Wudi's father didn't stay long and didn't speak much, but it felt as if an eternity passed and many thoughts were shared just through a few words. In all honesty, Wudi didn't know his father too well. Being the youngest son, his father had already reached the peak when he was born and had many things to worry about. However, this meeting proved that his father wouldn't always be here. Clearly, his father wished to break this world's shackles and move forward to the next step.

The dao was elusive, but Wudi and his father seemed to know that you don't comprehend the dao; you are your own dao, and you comprehend yourself. Wudi realized that his father was likely stronger than the rumors claimed and felt that he was close to breaking the shackles and reaching a realm this world couldn't hold.
