I stayed outside in the coolness of the evening air. Living like a king but feeling like quite the fool. Maybe there was little difference between the two and I was a king of fools.

There was nothing like talking to Livy to bring clarity. She really was clever in ways that I would never be.

Strategy was one thing, the ability to analyze and think well ahead. But it could only go so far, and she was more intuitive, seeing things I’d never considered.

Something close to the clearest definition of genius I’d ever heard. It basically came down to the difference between talent and genius. Talent lets you hit the target no one else can hit, genius lets you hit the target no one else can see.
