"Not yet. Today's meeting ran a bit late, so it just finished." Adrian replied, "I ordered lunch, it should be here soon."

"Why are you eating so late, aren't you hungry?" Cindy asked again.

"Not hungry, don't worry. Didn't you prepare a bunch of snacks for me? I have the cookies and Snowflake Crisps, along with beef jerky you made for me." Adrian said, while secretly patting his stomach hidden under the table.

He felt as if he had put on a bit of weight recently due to Cindy's feeding.

His abs were on the verge of giving up.

He really should be more cautious.

He can't gain 'marital bliss weight' before even reaching middle age.

Without his good looks to attract Cindy, it just wouldn't be right.
