He hates himself. He really does.

He curses himself too. He really does and is doing and will do.

How is one word, literally one word, so very effective? How is this one word able to persuade him into giving in? How is this one word strikes him in a way and the only thing he was able to say was 'okay'?

How is this one simple past endearment still gives him the good chills that he let him come in? How is it so really really easy to shatter Darren's control of his self by the word 'cutie'?

He bit his tongue as he closed the door, his heart already hammering inside his chest but he didn't mind that. What he's busy doing is to control the way he carries himself now. He cannot let anything get away, he cannot let Tim know he's nervous and confused again and again and again.
