I was contact by Qidian this morning and it was confirmed that CCG would become a premium novel on April 4th.

How does this influece the novel? Well, in CCG's case, almost nothing changes. The base release rate was always 7/week and it will stay the same for free users (even if we add the extra chapters released due to the power ranking, it barely reached 8/week), and after taking a look at the current power ranking, I don't think the novel was going to get past the 9th place.

Now, what does change for people willing to spend spirit stones? In your case, the release rate will permanently change to 12 chapters per week, and you'll be able to enjoy the mass releases we'll make from time to time. For example, 15 chapters will be released on April 4th.

The release rate will change to 12/week from Sunday and will be the same for all users unti April 4th, after which, it will stay 12/week for premium and revert back to 7/week for free users.

We'll still keep the power ranking thing, but only for the first three places: 3rd place will be 13/week, 2nd place will be 14/week and 1st place 15/week.
