Kapitel 149: Light Spirit

Chloe, Neo, and Owen sat beside Alden. They waited for the healer to come.

'Elttil, Matthew, this won't end here.' Alden thought. 'You messed with my swords. And then suddenly, the beast died out of nowhere and exploded? You must have something to do with this.'

"Sir," Alden looked at the man sent from the academy.

"Lance. Lance is my name," The man introduced himself.

"Sir Lance, first, my swords broke in the middle of the fight. Not the blade, but from the handle. And then, the bear started acting weird and exploded." Alden spoke.

"What are you getting at?" Lance asked.

"Don't you think it's too much of a coincidence?"

Matthew's eyes widened upon hearing this from the side. He was pretending to look for clues.

Lance's eyes widened for a second. "But that can't be possible. The ones who prepared the beast and gave you the swords..." He looked at Matthew and fell into deep thought.
