Kapitel 309: Proud Father

"How dare they!" Charles threw the glass on the floor which hit the ground with a loud crashing sound.

His eyes were burning with fierceness. 

"You are going to meet her tomorrow and sort this out." he said in an authoritative voice as he looked at Alex with a grim face who raised a brow.

"Father, what if they refused. Would it not humiliate our family further!" he asked back with a serious face when Charles gritted his teeth. 

He wanted to force the duke but he knew that he could not do it publicly. Duke Caramiline holds half of the market when it comes to business.

Fighting against him meant fighting against the whole noble faction, he had ties with and Charles could not afford it.

"Did he think that a girl like Evelyn could run such a large business? Ha! He would regret it. I have to find a way." Alex stared at his face with a complex look on his face.
