Kapitel 569: Nearing To The End

"No!" Cedric shook his head. "You can not be that strong. No one could be that strong." he paused and stared at the body of Alex, as if he had found their secret.

He breathed in relief and hugged Alex. 

"He is not dead. I know he is not." his fingers caressed the cheek of Alex softly. He was his sister's child, more like his child. 

Alex opened his eyes, not caring about the act anymore. Cedric's eyes trembled and his hands clenched into a fist. Though he had deduced it already. It still felt surreal to see Alex standing high.

The word "joy" could not do justice to his feelings. 

"Alex" tried to hold him but his legs did not support. This damn fracture! "Alex help me." 

Alex gave one cold look to him as if he was disgusted by Cedric's presence and then swept one glance in the hall.

"Rise!" To all the maids and Cedric's men's surprise, nobles started to stand up one by one and so did the royal family.
