Kapitel 208: A Trap

"Are you sure this is the way?" Alex asked with a frown as he looked at the maid who was walking behind him with her head bowed low.

"Yes, your highness, I was told to guide you into the pearl room." he nodded back as he already knew the meaning behind it.

She was going to be there too. He instantly realized that it was his father's way to give both of them a chance to reconcile. If only he could return back.

He should have accepted the offer of ben to go and refuse his majesty of his presence.

He could have said that he was tired from the journey too. But then he had to go later! Sigh! What a mess.

The rooms were specific for meetings to ensure complete discipline. While his father used the gold room for his personal meetings. 

Silver room was for the empress meeting and the pearl room was used when they both attended meeting the guest.

It shows that they are attending the event as a couple, not as an emperor and an empress.
