They gasped. Looking at her confident face, it did not look like she was lying.

"We were following the trails of a black bear. That was why we were late." she replied after a pause and then looked away. 

He opened his mouth but when Albert was about to open his mouth, Alex stared at him sharply and he felt embarrassed.

Oli was already like an unbridled wild animal, now that she had the support of Alex, she did not have any reins.

As they reached the entrance of the forest where everyone was waiting for them, a group of crowd came running to them.

But when they came forward, they stopped. 

Alex was only in his open coat while he was holding Oli in his arms possessively. 

Her pants were tattered and they all looked.. Strange! 

The duke stared at the couple with a strange look. They both were men, why did he feel that there was something amiss.
