After the zoo and meeting those interesting people, it was about five days. It was the only time I could remember where I'd heard the words "muggle" and wooden wands.
— I'm in the fucking world of Harry Potter. —whispered in my room.
Going through my memories of that world was pretty easy once I realized what the hell had happened. And from what I realized, my DE wasn't Magic ... Magic was probably the second energy that was inside of me.
What do I know about magic in the world of Harry Potter? It's some weird shit that's passed down through the blood? Works through a stump deck, there's a very huge list of all sorts of charms or spells. You can use and favor the use of magic through a wand. I think it's an incredible weakness, but maybe there's some reason why people use the wand. People aren't stupid enough to use something they don't need, are they?
— I guess I'll have to make time for magic too.
I wasn't going to change my main power, that's what made me me me. And magic would be taught to me at school.
— Adam?! —suddenly came a rather menacing voice.
— I'm coming! —I realized pretty quickly that I had to finish my errands first.
Toward nightfall, I was able to find time to practice my magic. It was easy to find something that made you not so ordinary person, still 20 years of life without magic does its job.
— Breathe in. — trying to control this energy, which was much easier to control than SE. — Breathe out.
Gathering a small amount of magic released it around me, although there were no visual effects, but by the movement of the sheets on the table it was clear that it turned out. Even though I couldn't shape the magic, it was much easier to release it outward. After a couple or three more times of releasing magic, I had more or less gotten the hang of controlling that power.
— What spells do I know? — I mumbled my thoughts.
The first thing that came to mind was a levitating spell, except that it was still necessary to make some movements with a wand, so you can cancel this spell. The next thing that comes to mind is the killing curse Avada Kedavra? After all, seeing every other person in the movies shooting green lasers will make you memorize the words.
— Avada Kedavra. — I whispered, extending my arm.
In that instant, I felt something pull a good amount of magic out of me. The amount of magic in me was greater than my DE, but it was just such a sudden outflow. I'd have to wait until I recovered all the magic I'd used in my failed attempt at a killing curse. No green laser flew out of my hand, but it felt like something was missing... Besides magic, something was missing.
— Damn it. I'm such an asshole. — I slapped myself in the face.
While I was resting and waiting for the magic to return, I remembered a very simple spell. It was called Lux, which created a ball of light and used the word Knox to turn it off.
After waiting for all the magic to be restored I eagerly sat down on the bed and raised a finger and said:
— Lux. — at that moment, I imagined a ball of light appearing on my finger.
— Wow! — I couldn't help but exclaim when I saw that my finger had become a mini flashlight.
I felt like I'd lost a quarter of my magic, and considering that this is the spell I learn first ... It's pretty disappointing.
— Nox. — at that second, the ball of light went out.
Feeling what I could do with magic, I spent the whole night repeating Lux-Knox. In the end, I fell asleep at dawn, because today was a day off.
— Wah! — I yawned and fell asleep happy.
* A week later *
A week of practicing magic and DE, what can I say after so much practice and experimentation? Magic is a very malleable energy, and after each practice it was like a muscle was getting stronger, the container that holds the magic inside of me was getting bigger after each exhausting practice. DE also became easier to handle, but the container of this energy is more difficult to increase. However, realizing what kind of energy was in my hands betrayed my motivation.
I also tried to cast magic in the limbs, however nothing changed, however if you add to the simple casting of magic a wish .... As an example you can wish or rather believe that you will heal your wounds, in that moment the wound heals quite quickly. I also tried to grow my hair, which I did.
At the same time, I realized that DE increases my physical characteristics quite well, I haven't tried to put this energy in my eyes yet, and I'm not talking about my brain either. Until I learn to use this energy more accurately, there is no point in directing energy to these organs.
*Five years later*
It's been quite some time since I learned about the existence of the magical world. Since then my visits to London have increased and each time I have been able to see these magicians better and better. If you have magic, you can see who's a magician pretty quickly.
— I hope that my flashes of magic have been noticed and that I will be admitted to Hogwarts. — I said, twirling a large number of light spheres in my hands.
During this time, I was able to increase my reserve to an extraordinary size, and my control also increased. The biggest jump was when I was 7 years old, and after that jump I was able to increase my reserve. The next jump in reserve happened recently, right on my 11th birthday.
I had learned to do quite a few things with my magic, like telekinesis, but I couldn't do truly magical things.
— And this... — at that moment, scarlet spheres appeared on my right hand, which had scarlet lightning-like flashes. — Much more destructive than .....
Directing the smallest sphere into the telekinetic sphere, I just made sure that SE easily destroys magic.
— What the hell did I absorb in that place?
Recently, I've been able to make an incredibly thin film of SE around my body. Although it wasn't easy, when it came in contact with my clothes, it destroyed everything. Using such armor on a permanent basis would be quite a stretch, so one had to also learn how to create it in a fairly short period of time.
*Knock, knock*
— Adam?
— Yes Mrs. Smith? — I said as I stopped my manipulations.
— You have someone here to see you ....
***
— There's someone here to see you. Could you open the door, please?
Is it Hogwarts?
— Adam? — Mrs. Smith's voice was starting to sound indignant.
— I'm coming! — I sounded a little panicked.
When I opened the door, I saw two women standing in front of me. Mrs. Smith's eyes were telling me how much trouble I had caused. She was a tall woman with dark, sometimes gray hair in a tight bun and square glasses. She looked much younger than the women I'd seen in the movies, at most I'd give her no more than forty. It was clearly Minerva McGonagall, if I remembered correctly, Albus's right hand at the school.
When she saw me, the woman looked at me with a glance and clearly assessed me, but she was also surprised by the color of my hair. It was extremely purple in color.
— Hello, and I apologize for keeping you. — I said, knowing that otherwise Mrs. Smith would torment me with her lectures.
When Mrs. Smith nodded and confirmed my thoughts, I calmed down. After which I received a portion of the sentence:
— Adam, let me introduce Minerva McGonagall, she's the vice-principal at the boarding school. And she would like to invite you to her school.
At this moment, someone came running in from downstairs rather quickly, it turned out to be one of Mrs. Smith's assistants.
— Mrs. Smith needs help. — said the girl in a rather panicked voice.
The older woman, obviously realizing that she was needed, looked at Minerva apologetically:
— I beg your, pardon, may I leave you two alone? — and then she spoke rather quickly. — Adam is a very bright boy, he is quite mature for his age.
— Of course. — answered Minerva rather quickly at my glance.
After we entered my room, Minerva sat down on the seat I offered her and said:
— It's nice to meet you Mr. White. Let me introduce myself again, my name is Minerva McGonagall and I am the vice-principal of the school. Let me ask you, have you ever had any unusual things happen in your life?
I just nodded, and the professor said:
— All that has happened to you are random flashes of magic. To control these abilities you need to study in a special place. One of which is the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. And you have been granted a place in this school.
Seeing my obviously questioning face she asked:
— What questions do you have?
I wanted to ask if she was sick, but I held back:
— How can you prove the existence of magic?
The deputy director only turned a nearby book into an owl. Seeing a mute question about whether that was enough, I just continued:
— Okay, I can believe that magic exists. How long does it take to study at your school?
— It takes 7 years, during which time you will gain the most complete knowledge in many areas of the magical arts.
— Does your school charge a fee?
— It is, but a special program from the Ministry is considered for orphans. And ahead of your question, all the necessary books and tools are also included in this program.
— What does this kind of help entail?
— Isn't tuition free in the Muggle world? — Minerva asked, looking at me perplexed. — The only thing you have to do is to pay the full amount of books and equipment within two years of graduation.
— I see, but what should I bring with me to school?
After that I received a letter from Hogwarts with a list of things to bring to school.
— Uh. Where am I supposed to get all this stuff? — I asked, still playing my part, but I didn't know the exact location of the entrance.
— It can all be found in the Diagon Alley. — said Minerva McGonagall with a slight smile. — And now we're going to go there. Are you ready for a little trip?
After looking around and making sure I looked pretty good, I just nodded.
— Before we leave, I need to tell your teacher that you need to come with me to get your school supplies.
After informing Mrs. Smith that I needed to go shopping for supplies, my future teacher and I went outside.
— Mr. White, hold my hand.
As I took the teacher's right hand, I felt...
