Kapitel 37: Chapter 37

“Oh, fuck,” Barry sighed once the pressure on his bladder had been relieved. “That’s better.”

He shook off the dribbles, rearranged himself and headed back to the bedroom.

The dim light from the hallway allowed Barry to see that in his absence, Rex had decided to occupy Barry’s place in the bed, albeit on top of the covers.

“Rex,” Barry hissed. He had to stifle a laugh when he saw that a still asleep Jake was slowly grinding into the dog. “Rex,” he said more loudly.

The dog, evidently quite comfortable, despite Jake’s actions, didn’t move.

“Come on, boy, off!” Barry hissed, hoping to God Jake didn’t wake up.

Jake stayed asleep, but Jimmy woke. Blinking, he looked up at Barry, who was leaning over Rex. Jimmy’s eyes widened and Barry knew he’d seen what Jake was up to.

“Don’t,” Barry hissed, starting to pull Rex down the bed.

“No,” Jake mumbled, putting out an arm to stop his partner from leaving.

Barry winced, Jimmy laughed, and Jake opened his eyes.
