Kapitel 1: The Honored One enters highschool

Ever since I was born, everything in my life has gone smoothly. I had a unique talent for being extremely lucky.

For example, before I could even learn to walk, I picked up a lottery ticket that is actually worth the Jackpot prize for one hundred million yen. In kindergarten, I found a crystal in a hair clip with high value.

Born in an upper class wealthy family, good looks, excellent grades, excellent in sports, talented in any art and musical instruments, all sorts specialized skills. As long as I set my mind into it, I can pretty much achieve anything. I had everything in this world had to offer. Throughout the heavens and the earth, I alone, am the Honored One.

Of course, that doesn't mean I'm a perfect human being.

If we speak about taking a super difficult exam even university students couldn't answer, I could get perfect scores not because I am smart or I studied hard, but I just happened to just get the correct answers.

If speaking about sports, it's not like I have high level of talent that I could perform well, it's all just because my moves just happened to be the correct decision at that point of time. In baseball I could hit a home run everytime I was at bat, in basketball a full court three point shot, in chess the enemy blundered a crucial move.

It's not like luck is all I have. My abilities in studying, sports, and other stuff is quite good. In my assessment, I should be fine competing at the top of my peers if I put in the effort. It's just that my luck outshines my true ability, it basically overshadows my capabilities.

I continued to believe my luck would continue in my life. I was interested in how far my luck can go. I would like to see it for myself.

...

I ate breakfast, took a shower, brushed my teeth, combed my hair, and changed into my school uniform.

I looked into the mirror, and still I found it really troubled.

You see it's not like I'm ugly, actually it's far from that. I'm beautiful, in fact I am really beautiful my charisma stat, in video game terms, should be maxed out. I lost count how many times several top modeling agencies come to scout for me.

But this is my huge problem. But despite my beautiful face and my slender build proportionate to my body, I am actually a guy.

I know it's hard to believe, but I have legitimate XY chromosome.

"I wonder if it was better I was born a woman." I had asked myself this questions several times. But still I found it the thought creeped me down to my core.

In elementary and junior high, it was a common occurrence that a guy would send me love letters asking me out in a confession. I was so mad that there's no end to it.

"I'm not a girl! I'm a guy!" I shouted as I ripped each of those love letters in front of their faces during their confessions.

Still it's not like I don't understand them. If it were me and there's a person with my appearance, I would gladly confess even if that person is a guy.

I even had my fair share number of stalkers.

Enough about that. I went downstairs and left my home. I would be gone in this place for three years.

...

April

I was in the bus looking at the outside scenery from the window. Watching the city's scenery change, the bus picked up more and more passengers.

Most of them are young people wearing high school uniforms.

I decided to close my eyes off until I reach my destination. It will require a couple more hours til I arrived.

2 hours later.

The busy announced that I arrived to school. I stretched out my arms and legs and disembarked.

I dragged my sluggish body trying shake off the drowsiness.

Today is the entrance ceremony. Before that, I need to go to the classroom.

What should I do? I don't really have any plans on my high school life. If this was an anime or manga, highschool life is the milestine of the start of their youth. They make friends, highschool romance, spicy drama, passionate goal to go to nationals in a sports club, yadda yadda...

If I could make friends that I got along really well, or a girlfriend that would be great, but I don't really aim for that.

But I really don't have any goals, I don't even have the ambition to be anyone remarkable. If you ask me if there's a profession I'm interested in, I guess I had to say joining the JSDF. The most manly job that exist, but that's all my childishness to refute anyone who doubts my virility.

The classroom has already a number of students when I arrived. The moment I stepped in, the atmosphere in class changed.

All of their eyes stared at me, boys and girls alike. I could see some of them blushing red. Even when I wear the boy's school uniform, they still found me beautiful.

I glared back at them, "What are you all looking at?"

They awkwardly shifted their eyes away as they continued chatting with their friends before I interrupted them.

I waited on my seat until the first school bell rang. A mature woman wearing formal suit entered the classroom. She had a stern face with a serious air around. I guess she should be our homeroom teacher.

"Be seated." The teacher commands.

"I am the teacher in charge of this class, Chabashira Sae. As this school doesn't reassigned students each year, I will continue being your homeroom teacher for the three years in this school." She said.

"I will now hand out the school hand book. Pass it to the back."

The students in the front row passed the school hand back to the back. I received the hand book and read through them.

This school differed from the multitude of other Japanese high schools in a few key ways. Here, all students were required to live in dormitories located on school premises.

Also, except for special cases, such as studying abroad, students were forbidden to contact anyone outside the school. Even contact with your immediate family was forbidden without authorization. Naturally, leaving school grounds without permission was also strictly forbidden.

However, the campus also came equipped with many excellent facilities. With its own karaoke spot, theater, café, boutique, and more, you could easily compare this school to a small city. The campus spread over 600,000 square meters.

"I will now hand out your student ID cards. By using your card, you can access any of the facilities on campus, purchase goods from the store, and so on. It acts like a credit card. However, it is imperative that you pay attention to the points that you spend. At this school, you can use your points to buy anything. Anything located on the school premises is available for purchase."

Our points, loaded onto our student ID cards, acted as a kind of currency. The lack of paper money would prevent many student's financial troubles.

"Your student cards can be used simply by swiping them through the machine scanner. The method is simple, so you shouldn't get confused. Points are automatically deposited into your account on the first of every month. You should all have received 100,000 points already. Keep in mind that one point is worth one yen. No further explanation should be necessary."

The classroom cheered. Even I was shocked. Even for a government funded school, 100,000 yen for each student should be overkill.

"Shocked by the amount of points you've been given? This school evaluates its students' talents. Everyone here has passed the entrance examination, which itself speaks to your value and potential. The amount you've received reflects the evaluation of your worth. You can use your points without restraint. After graduation, however, all of your points return to the school. Because it's impossible to exchange your points for cash, there's no advantage to saving them. Once points have been deposited into your account, it's up to you how to spend them. Do as you like. In the event that you don't want to spend your points, you may transfer them to someone else. However, extorting money from your peers is not allowed. This school monitors bullying very carefully."

"Well, it appears no one has any questions. I hope that you enjoy your time here as students."

Many of the students here could not hide their surprise by the huge amount of points.

"Hey, hey! Do you want to check out a store with me on our way back? Let's do some shopping!" one girl cried.

"Sure. With this much, we can buy anything. I'm so glad I got into this school!" another said.

Once the teacher was gone, the newly rich students began to grow restless. For me, this amount of money a month is in fact a downgrade. I received larger allowance than this in monthly basis.

Plus my net worth is already worth tens of billions Japanese Yen because of my investment in cryptocurrency.

Well I wouldn't mind living frugally in my high school life.
