The shareholder huffed. "I have also read the rule book. He has twenty minutes after the meeting has officially started to arrive. You can't terminate him until that time is crossed!" he claimed. 

The speaker nodded. "Indeed."

But it was highly disrespectful not to be on time at one's own trial. It was saying that he didn't care about the outcome.
