Logan smiled as he listened to the exclamation from Briar.

He was glad and relieved that she liked the designs, though they hadn't been changed in a long time.

He wondered how she would react once she saw what he had in store for her.

And that answer came pretty quickly when an exaggerated 'Wow!' rang in his ears.

At that moment, Briar was standing in a daze as she looked at the dining room, which was decorated with scented candles. With a glance, she could tell that the setting was truly quite romantic.

There wasn't any food at the table, but who cares about food at the moment? The thought of having a dinner date with Logan made her blood pump.

After exclaiming excitedly, she looked at Logan shyly and he smiled at her.

"Let go and freshen up. We need to pad our bellies," he said to her in a soft tone.

Briar nodded agreeingly to that and followed like a tail.
