While he was talking on the phone, he caught sight of the window and a thought crossed his mind. Maverick pulled the curtains in the room together, yet they were not enough to get them down from the last floor of the ten-story building. He looked around the room and his eyes zoomed in on the bed sheet.

He walked up to them on the bed and was about to drag the sheets from them when the man raised his voice.

"Don't you dare touch the sheets, else I'll tell them you're here!!"

Maverick paused and looked at the man, then the corner of his lips stretched into a smirk, "I dare you."

"Don't think I'm scared of you! The living ancestors already passed judgment on you. You are no longer a part of the Lu family and you can't use the Lu family's name anymore! Grandfather had wanted to make the announcement but was distracted by important things, so you should know how you talk to me!!"
