Kapitel 186: Vol 1 : Stubborn

Ivy is nervous, she thinks about what Faye wants to talk to her about. She remembers whether she made a mistake this month, but finds nothing unless she was absent for a day without explanation.

Faye could see Ivy glancing scared at her. She said quietly, "This is not a problem of work, I asked another question."

Ivy finally wanted to sit still with the anxiety that had not completely disappeared from her heart. Even Faye's gentle gaze didn't have much of an effect on her.

"Aunt Ivy, have a little tea to relax," Faye suggested, still feeling Ivy very tense at her, "what I want to ask you is not your job. I promise."

"I'm all right," said Ivy, "Miss Faye want to ask me something?"

Faye couldn't force Ivy, she took a deep breath, and started asking softly, "Aunt Ivy talked to Denis the day before yesterday? I mean in the afternoon."

"Yes, Mr. Denis and I talked a little," Ivy replied nervously.
